Erin Hunter’s #1 bestselling Warriors series continues with the second book in the Changing Skies arc, as the Clans continue to navigate an ominous prophecy that foreshadows the end of the cats' connection to StarClan.

Still healing from an accident that almost killed her, Tawnypelt is eager to share the message she received from StarClan about a “great peril” looming over the clans. But her vision is dismissed by her son and leader, Tigerstar, leaving Tawnypelt with no choice but to take action on her own.

Racked with guilt that he caused his father’s death, Starlingpaw is determined to atone for his mistake. His chance comes when Tawnypelt warns him of a “two-faced cat” intent on destroying the clans. Believing himself uniquely suited to find this cat and stop them, Starlingpaw seizes on the opportunity to prove that he is an asset, and not a liability, to SkyClan.

Moonpaw is settling into her role as a Thunderclan apprentice, even as she continues to grapple with the voice in her head. But the more she tries to ignore the voice, the louder—and angrier—it grows.

Meanwhile, Twolegs have set their sights on the Moonpool, preventing the Clans from reaching StarClan. Will the cats find a way to reach their ancestors before all is lost?

They called brightheart bridgeheart twice and then they called her frickin bright star and that’s crazy

Bridgeheart

New narrator puts ZERO work into her narration. Shes constantly tripping over her words and stuttering, mispronouncing names, and she barely does any voices for the characters.

its difficult to differentiate whos talking when its the same tone of voice droning on struggling to say "thorn tunnel" without stuttering.

I miss macleod andrews.

Narrator is garbage

I don't like the narrator, I really miss McLeod Andrews but other then that, amazing! but I hate the cliffhangers! It sounds like Morningkit is going to be the next main villain and a member of the Dark Forest!

Miss McLeod, and why is Erin Hunter so good at cliffhangers!!!

I’ve tried to be understanding of the new narrator but there have been serious mess ups in this book. Genuinely, Brightheart gets called “Bridgeheart”, and sometimes there are non-sensible sentences as well. It seems rushed, as if no one proofread it. I love warriors but this performance was disappointing because it seems like the narrator doesn’t put the passion or care to the characters.

This narrator needs to reevaluate their work.

The story is interesting so far, I’m not a fan of the whole characters not wanting to communicate with each other plot line they use over and over again, but it sort of works with this story. I’m waiting to see where things go from here to decide about it.

That being said, I’ve tried to give this narrator a chance with this book and the last book. The editing is bad, she speaks in a really rushed way, there’s hardly any voices to differentiate the characters so sometimes it’s hard to guess who is talking, she stumbles over words multiple times, and the way she uses inflection in sentences makes it sound like a sentence is ending before it’s actually over which gives it a weird, hard to digest flow. I hope they’re able to look into this or she’s able to improve for future books.

Interesting Story Bad Narration

The narrator is not very good at her job (sorry!) it is stuttering and it rushes along in some sentences.
She called Brightheart bridgeheart and Brightstar! Why would they do that to MY FAVORITE WARRIOR!!!
The story is wonderful though. Just some notes:

- BRIDGEHEART
- big blue box around sacred connection to StarClan. Classic. It’s a box.
- Orange cat ( Morningkit ) is a bit ( QUITE a bit) of a jerk.
- poor Moonpaw!
- bridgeheart. Seirously. Bridgeheart.
- perhaps Crowfeather should hide his feelings for Tawnypelt. He’s being sooooooo obvious.
- I know you guys don’t read this… but I have a name idea! Frogfur of RiverClan! Please please pleaaaase!

Good story but QUITE a few notes…

The narration of this book was very flat, expressionless, and lacked discernment between all of the different characters. There was a LOT of audio editing mistakes and I have a feeling this is due to AI editing- which sucks. The audio would either slow down for a word or two or speed up quickly for no reason, there’d be awkward pauses and choppy sentences, and sometimes the narrator sounded muffled or echoed. Not a very immersive experience overall.

Narration is Flat & Editing is Awful

The narrator needs a lot of work. Sometimes this was hard to listen to, because once again it sounds like she’s rushing through the book. At certain points I thought it myself “is this an AI bot?” Because the way she sounds like she’s finished a sentence and then adds a word is weird. There’s a ton a mispronounced names, words, etc.

My other complaint would be that it feels like she doesn’t try very hard to make the characters sound very different.

The book was good and interesting, but the performances was hard to get through.

Narrator needs work.

I'm going to have to switch to reading the books instead of listening. The narrator shows very little interest in making the audiobooks enjoyable. There is nothing to differentiate the different characters from each other. The speaking sounds so off. I got to the end of chapter 3 and won't go any further. I've listened to every single book as well as read them, but unless they change the Narrator I will only read these books from now on. Not worth it in my opinion.

Not able to Finish

I think Rich just isn’t putting anything behind the reading, there’s no flavor or true emotion unlike Andrews, it’s extremely disappointing.

I just honestly believe Katie lacks any interest nor character when reading this series.
