Movie is cute, but read the book!

Our house rule is to read the book before seeing the movie. When we listened to these women's stories we were impressed and amazed. The movie was a cute representation, but the book just intensifies the details. Highly recommend getting the"real" story!

I had higher expectations

My 10 year old and I listened to this together, so this is our combined opinion. It was good but a little monotonous, both in story and voice. It was still very interesting and eye opening to learn about the history.

horrible writing, good movie

so much repeatitive story lines per chapter assumes you never read there chapters
my child really like the speaker, but never got chapter 7, because it became boring.
