The Hunt for a Serial Killer
Hidden is Book 3 of The Silverton Chronicles series. I rarely start in the middle of a series, but I found that this book can be read as a stand-alone volume. The story begins when a teenage werewolf is killed and put on the doorstep of her pack. Ali, the werewolf pack’s second in command, is confronted by Eli, a vampire police investigator, with the suggestion that they join together in the hunt for a serial killer who is killing the youth of Silverton, CA. In a world made up of werewolves, vampires, demons, satyrs and humans, hunting for a killer is not an easy task.
The story has lots of action, mystery and some gay romance. I did not think the romance fit into the story at times and seemed to be inserted at the wrong moments. Ali seemed to always be thinking about sex and his attraction to Eli. As an example, after a major demon-werewolf-vampire fight scene with Ali and Eli left standing bloody and bruised we find Ali thinking about sex with Eli… really! That being said I did enjoy the story.
The narrator, Scott Ellis was excellent. I’m looking forward to listening to audiobooks 1 and 2 in the series. This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Amazing Read
My always go to hook is vampires and werewolves. And Carmen Fox has put these and more in this book. It's the third book in The Silverton Chronicles. And is just as great as the first one. But in my opinion, everyone of her books is outstanding.

Fantastic paranormal mystery! Loved it!
Hidden is book three in Carmen Fox’s The Silverton Chronicles. It’s definitely a very well written fast paced paranormal mystery with Vampires, werewolves, murder and mayhem! I absolutely loved Ali and Eli and the awesome chemistry and bonds that evolve throughout this intriguing story. I really loved this audiobook and can’t wait for the next one. I do recommend you to read this series in order, just to better understand what’s going on. However, that being said, I started with this one and didn’t have to very much trouble, but I definitely plan to go back to the beginning because I wouldn’t want to miss anything!

A different type of serial killer mystery
Werewolves, vampires and the serial killer they are hunting down. That's a pretty good recipe for a book with a good narrator. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator.
