Wedding of the Year, Murder, Great Clean Mystery

Sexual Content- PG- alluded to relationships but no described interactions, flirtation but nothing really to warn of

So far this series, while better in order, I do think they can be read as a standalone. Andi just turned 60 and is getting her lemo company up and going when she lands a crazy large and extravagant wedding job - 5 full days of work toting rich family and friends around. The mystery starts off not with a bang but something more memorable to the senses. I enjoyed this one just as much as the first book. I loved how there is a Christian thread in these books and while book one wasn't very preachy, book two was a bit more on that side- not in an over preachy way but it's a bigger part of the story. Definitely recommend for those that like the clean cozy mystery and are maybe looking for a slightly more mature story.

Narrator- (3⭐) Pleasant voice, not the best differentiations, and the speaking speed felt a little slow but better at 1.25x speed.

Loved this second Andi adventure!

This was an excellent second installment in this series! The mystery was well-thought out, keeping me guessing and interested the whole time. I loved the characters and especially the deepening of Andi’s faith. It felt very natural and real the way she is growing in her faith and taking halting steps at sharing it with others. The only disappointment for me was that I was expecting Joella and the baby to still be around and play a big role in this series. Not a deal-breaker but I missed them.

Charming all the way

Once again Ms McCortney entertained me with quite a few laugh out loud moments in this second and sp charming story in the adventures of Andi McConnell, and her inherited limo. It’s a clean mystery which I do appreciate. Even more is the wit and snarky humor of this still gorgeous 60 yr old who gets herself in yet another mess. Love this older maybe wiser gal who is still in good shape and loving life and maybe starting to find love again. I really enjoy her stories. I was gifted this audio for which I’m so grateful, however the opinions are entirely my own. I think you’ll enjoy it. The narrator captured the essence and attitudes of the characters superbly in my opinion. Enjoy!!!

Andi McConnell Mystery!

I read the first book in this series and found the characters charming and enjoyable, so I was excited to listen to the next book. In this book, Andi is invited to be the limo driver for a wedding where things quickly turn into a crime scene. Andi, as usual, is determined to get to the bottom of things even though it puts her in harms way. Lorena McCourtney is a wonderful storyteller and managed to surprise me with the ending. The narrator does a nice job capturing the individual personalities of the characters. On a separate note, I am hoping to read about a wedding between Fitz and Andi somewhere down the road!

Totally enjoyed it.

What a fun "cozy" mystery book with many twists and turns. Book 2 but could be listened to on it's own.Highly recommend.
