yeah not this one

I wanted to read Cedric story so bad . but for some reason I had to skip forward alot chapters on this one.

Great storytelling

Loved these stories. Listened to all of them for a second time and some for the first time and relished each one. Well written with intrigue, suspense, and love. Loved the way you carried the friendships throughout the series. Job well done Lauren 👍🏻. Narration was well done with great characterizations, accents, and intonations. Smooth transitions from character to character. Great job to Heather, Nathaniel, Carolyn, Tracy, and Catriona, but especially Heather and Nathaniel 👍🏻👍🏻.

Fantastical plot but still a fun read/listen

This has been a fun series and I think my favorite part has to be all the side characters and plots and the friendship between the members of the league and now their wives. I liked that Cedric was different in that he was resistant to marriage but instead was looking for it and open about his emotions for Anne and desire to be with her from the beginning. Both characters had to overcome their own hardships and traumas. I didn’t find their traumas as dark as I expected. The plot was a bit fantastical, I didn’t really understand the whole part where Anne had her accident and then amnesia but maybe the author did this so she didn’t have to dive deep into the trauma of her rape which can be a turn off for some readers. I did want there to be more of a resolution between Anne and her perpetrator, however and the story lacked any kind of redemption for her overcoming the trauma and justice being served. I liked getting to know Jonathan and Charles characters a bit deeper and look forward to Ash meeting his match in the next installment.

Very upset at their wedding night. If he was able to quickly discard her because of her past with no sympathy, he’s doesn’t really care for her. There was no real attraction.

I love the writing style! Such a wonderful story

I saw some of the reviews on here and worried about the writing style of this book.I love the writing style and found the story extremely engaging .The book contains multiple POV’s. I’m not sure why the others have complained about this. This book is definitely worth a listen and I’m enjoying the series so far!
