A fast paced, addictive and thrilling second instalment of Leslie North's Krav Brothers series!! I love the way Ms. North jam packs so much action and sexy time into her stories! I loved the mystery of who killed Maxim's dad and the palpable chemistry between Maxim and Savannah.
DC Cole delivers a STELLAR performance in this book! He is amazing with his range of voices and accents! I can't wait for the next book in this series!

Suspenseful, Sexy Romance!
I loved this second book in the Karev Brothers series! We met Maxim in the first book as the brother who got away from the 'family business'. His father was murdered in the first book and we are still trying to find out who killed him. Maxim is blackmailed by sexy FBI agent Savannah Casillero. They want Maxim to pretend to be her lover and introduce her into the organization. As they face more and more danger, they must learn to trust each other. I loved both Maxim and Savannah. She was so strong yet vulnerable, making her the perfect woman for Maxim and boy did the sparks fly! Narrator, DC Cole, was fantastic! His inflections and voice changes were perfect and his Russian accent was captivating. I was lost in this world and the story was over way too soon, I can't wait for book 3!

The Russian Mafia suddenly seems appealing
The book makes the Russian mafia seem like it's crawling in hot men, of course the crime aspect still isn't appealing but...
Loved the character dynamic with control passing back and forth between Maxim and Savannah, and the chemistry... hot enough to light a fire. Great supporting cast of characters too although I disliked the implications that the FBI would make Maxim take the fall for something they don't have proof he did. I like to think they're more honest than that.
I haven't read book one and I do feel like there were undertone that I missed because of this, and this book definitely has spoilers for things that happen in book one so I recommend reading them in order.
As always, D. C.Cole did a fabulous job of the narration, excellent character voices and a delivery that drew me in and wouldn't let me stop listening.

Going undercover was never so sexy! FBI agent Savannah Casillero goes undercover with Maxim as his girlfriend, wreaking havoc with Maxim in both mind and spirit! These two have infinite chemistry and see all kinds of action and trouble. Leslie North has a way of writing to include action packed suspense with hot romance in her novellas always keeping me entertained.
North has picked the best narrator for this series..DC Cole. The man reads this story so well you can feel the heat between Maxim and Savannah and the suspense of the mob keeping them on their toes. Cannot wait to hear what he is going to do with Dmitry's in book 3!
