Clean, cute but predictable & lacking polish

3/5. Predictable and cute. Don’t have to think or process. Enjoyed the ride but got a little bored with the storyline. I bet her books will only get better! Keep your eye on this author.

Healing From The Past

This was a new to me author that I really enjoyed listening to. This story was very emotional and deals with issues from the past that they help each other overcome. Great story with characters that fit together and let's you know everyone makes mistakes and that you can heal.

A New Path could mean a Happier Life

This story is engaging and the characters are very personable. Both these characters are broken but they connect on an emotional level that they didn't realize would happen. Lauren and Chase finally accept the love they have for each other, then begin to make things work, instead of just wishing they could work their lives out. This story made me realize that sometimes going one way is so hard to turn from and choose an unknown path, but probably a better and happier one.

Good voices

I’m used to listening to a male narrator, so this really was a bit different on that front. She did a good job of doing different character voices. There were a few reactions that his me differently when she portrayed them as they had hit me personally when I read the book some months ago. However, overall, it was pretty good.

Story:
I really enjoyed this celebrity, small town romance. I liked the characters and their time spent together. I really liked watching them make their decisions and see where things led. I can’t wait for the next book!

Sweet and fun, while addressing serious issues of today

Her Rock Star’s Dark Secret is a sweet a clean romance that touches on some serious issues for teens and young adults in a respectful way. It is no way a dark storyline, but is entertaining and has a nice pace. The characters are fun and interesting and are performed nicely by the narrator. I’m looking forward to Alexis’ story.
