Finished in one day!

I stumbled upon this series a couple of months ago and finished listening to all 6 books in a week. The narrator is one of my favorites and combined with Stacy Green's stories makes these audiobooks hard to put down. When I heard book 7 was coming out 7/25/23 I immediately preordered it! It did not disappoint! I can't wait for book 8!

Annoying Narration

If you are going to tell a story about an actual place, you should use the correct pronunciations. It's EdIna, not EdEEna. Also, why make the children sound so sassy when they talk to their mom? Not all children behave badly.

Get Pronunciations Right!

Kate Handford is a good voice actor, but someone - the producer, the narrator, the publisher, someone - needs to ensure correct pronunciations.

First, it’s Eh-dine-uh, not Eh-deen-uh

Second, it’s mas-care-uh, not mas-car-uh

These little issues are controllable and solvable.

Good story, but the performance needs serious quality control.

I love this author. The narrator does such a great job too! Cannot wait for her next book.

On edge from the beginning

Love the Niki Hint series and can’t wait for the next book. The cases get better as the series continues & the reader gets invested in the life of the characters. Definitely my favorite series of crime thrillers.

ANOTHER EXCELLENT THRILLER BY STACY GREEN!

Like other reviewers, I chewed right through this book in just one day (like a dieter with NO self control!) and then felt sad that the whole book was gone leaving myself nothing to look forward to the next day.

I was hooked from page one until the the very last page. I sincerely hope Ms. Greene is already hard at work on her next book — the wait between her last book and this one seemed to take forever. I guess that old adage, “All good things come to those who wait,” is true.

As always the narrator was fantastic and really made the story come alive. She and Ms. Greene’s word’s are the perfect combination…

I highly recommend this book. You can read this as a stand alone, but I also recommend ALL of Ms. Greene’s books just as much as this one. They were all every bit as good!

Love the books, but can’t stand the narrator

The narrator has a nice voice, but her pronunciation is horrible. So much so that once I finish this series I will never listen to another book narrated by her.

I liked it

I liked this book a little more than the others in this series. Except it’s very hard to believe how stupid the chief of police actually is. It just doesn’t seem believable. But, I really like this series. Her books are definitely worth reading. However, it’s extremely annoying how often the word “Compartmentalize” is used SO often and in Every. Single. Book!!! But like I said, it’s a great series I will continue to read. :)
