Cute and Clever Rom Com

Wonderful heartwarming story. Fun Rom Com with engaging characters including a sweet dog named Andy Warhowl. Love the references and nod to Chicago. Unexpected five chili peppers spicy.

So entertaining!!

This book had me legitimately laughing out loud. If you are looking for a sweet interesting story with a little history thrown in. I recommend reading (or listening) this book.

Loved the story

I liked the narrator’s voice except for when she was voicing the MMC. That was really awful.

Un-Put-Down-Able

Lonely antiquities curator is enthralled by her latest project, restoring a priceless Medieval statue of a knight in full armor, the museum’s most recent acquisition. Right away, things go awry when she thinks she can hear the statues thoughts. Is she losing her mind or is there really a man trapped inside the statue? Bryn Donovan’s Her Knight at the Museum is a perfect marriage of rom com and historical romance with a dash if time travel. This is the perfect novel for lovers of the movie Kate & Leopold. It’s fast paced, full of emotion, and amply seasoned with spice. In other words, this is one of those un-put-down-ables so carve out a day to spend with Emily and Griffin in Her Knight at the Museum. Oh and... I listened to the audio version. The narrator is stellar.

I actually really loved this!

I know I rated it 4 stars but only because it's not anything groundbreaking, but I had so much fun with this book! GREAT premise for an incredibly fun hallmarky romcom. Loved the dog, Chicago, the love interest and the side characters.

Fun, Spicy, and Engaging

This was a great story that kept me interested and wanting to listen more. The premise was original and the historical references were a great enhancement to the story. Love that it centered around art and love. While not for young ears, the audible version is perfect for a long adult car ride.

Cute and Quick

Like all the other reviews say- it’s cute. Nice little HEA and love the historical touches. Reminds me of Disney’s Enchanted but role reversal and a bit of spice (3 out of 5). If you want a light read with a good bit of humor this is for you.

A mashup that almost makes it

Blast from the Past meets Mannequin meets Kate and Leopold with a sprinkle of Night at the Museum.

As a little mindless, occasionally funny “beach read”, I suppose this hits the mark, though just so. It required a lot of suspension of belief, and provoked a few eye rolls, but there was a somewhat interesting plot twist near the end. The setting in Chicago was nice, as that’s where I live. There were some charming and funny moments.

Ultimately, while worth the time as brain candy, I think there were opportunities for it to be much better developed to even better pull out the themes of loneliness and second chances.
