a Mystery throughout
Carla is an incredible writer. Keeping me in suspense to the point I look forward to the next point I can continue the book. The narrator is also phenomenal in bringing the story to life with accents and emotion in her voice.

I love the twists!
I love the twists and the internal turmoil of each of the characters. When you think it’s going one way it turns 180° the opposite direction. Carla Kovach is a great writer.

Cannot stand the narrator.
The narrator makes this unbearable and impossible to get through. She makes all the women so whiny when it's not needed. I've listened to others in the series and they were not this bad
