Publisher's summary

One night of passion may bind their futures forever.

John Garrison is a master of disguise. He’s as skilled at slipping into cover identities as he is at evading personal attachments. So when a sexy, brainy crime analyst challenges his life as a spy, the urge to run is as strong as his hunger for a sinful taste.

Nadia Powell is a geek at heart. Solving the latest cybercrime and binge-watching her favorite series are satisfying ways to win at life. But when a bossy CIA officer barges into her comfy existence, the urge to push him away becomes an ache to reel him in for more than just a kiss.

When Nadia’s current case escalates into a national security threat, John recruits her into his own covert op. He's always one step ahead. She hates surprises.

So, when their fiery attraction explodes into a complex web of lust and feelings, they both question who they are. Fate has a way of thwarting their best laid plans.

Her Covert Protector is book four of the Rogue Protectors series, but it can be heard as a stand-alone.

Love it

Wow what a story! The best of all of them. Loved John so much and the way he was. Dania was definitely for him. Great story!!! Recommend the Audio worth the credit!

AH-MAY-ZING!!!

THIS man, THIS book, THIS whole darn series is AH-MAY-ZING! I really love this book and admit that I have the e-book, paperback and yes, obviously the audiobook as well.

I love how it's quite obvious that the author has done her homework when writing these books and the way she finally brought Garrison to life (that is, gave him the spotlight) is nothing short of genius. Man oh man, all I can say is that John (aka Garrison) & Nadia's story is H-O-T!! He is a proper JP hero and although this is a "safe" book with no cheating, this couple"s relationship isn't just smooth sailing. There are a couple of WTF! moments and it definitely held my interest right from the start. The characters are strong & it's filled with suspense, action, heat and even some humor thrown in. 5 stars all the way

But let me get to the audio part itself. The narrators were good but let me explain - Aaron Shedlock was excellent with his part as John Garrison as well as when reading the parts of the other characters. He managed to change his voice accordingly while still delivering emotion with it. 5 stars for him. As for Kylie Stewart she did have one little "flaw" (for lack of a better word) that did have me cringing a little, especially towards the end when I just wanted to say "stop doing that". It's something small and most likely won't even bother others but it's also something I just couldn't get over - the pause after reading someone's dialogue and then "he/she/whoever said", then no to hardly any pause before immediately going on with the next part of the reading. It just doesn't sound right and unfortunately, the narrator does it every single time. For this reason I give her a MAX of 4 stars.

Overall the story and male narrator were strong enough to bring my total rating back to 5 but I pride myself in being honest during reviews so yeah, that little "flaw" keeps me from saying it was absolutely perfect.

Oh and although this book has a brand new couple, don't try listen/read the books in this series out of the order it's written because there is a back story that continues from book 1 to the end.

Her Covert Protector

I really liked this series. All the men were strong, likeable, sexy characters..while the women were the same. Smart, classy, and with determination to fight their battles with the help of a few friends.

Great book. I especially found John a great character. Nadia was a definite soulmate to him. They were perfect together in this book of espionage, intrigue, and romance.

I like the narrators as well. Great job
