Ever since the Bommarito sisters were little girls, their mother, River, has written them a letter on pink paper when she has something especially important to impart. But going home again has a way of forcing open the secrets and hurts that the Bommaritos would rather keep tightly closed. Working together to look after Henry and save their flagging bakery, Isabelle and her sisters begin to find answers to questions they never knew existed, unexpected ways to salve the wounds of their childhoods, and the courage to grasp surprising new chances at happiness.

WOW Life and hardship kindness and compassion. I am finding myself glued t o every book that Cathy Lamb writes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great character development

I wasn’t sure about this story after the reviews but I loved it. This story will take you through all of the emotions. Yes there are some violent parts but I believe these characters are real and this is not a story for people who are looking for something light and fluffy. I felt like I was involved in these characters lives. Those are the best kinds of stories in my opinion

Xe Sands knocked it out of the Park. A really good book! I will listen to more of Ms Lamb’s books!

Thus book made me laugh, it made me cry. It reminded me that we are all resilient and that there is hope in the world. Every family has their story, their dysfunction and love.
