David Baldacci
John Carr, aka Oliver Stone-once the most skilled assassin his country ever had-stands in Lafayette Park in front of the White House. Inside, the British prime minister is being honored at a state dinner. Then, just as the prime minister's motorcade leaves, a bomb explodes in the park, and in the chaotic aftermath Stone is given an urgent assignment: find those responsible.
British MI-6 agent Mary Chapman becomes his partner in the search for the unknown attackers. But their opponents are elusive, skilled, and increasingly lethal. Worst of all, the park bombing may have been only the opening salvo in their plan. With nowhere else to turn, Stone enlists the help of the only people he knows he can trust: the Camel Club.

Where does Hell's Corner rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Near the top. I love Baldacci's booksWho was your favorite character and why?
Oliver Stone. Always. Why? Why not? What do you think the narrator could have done better?
I'm not a huge fan of Ron McLarty. Don't think his narration flows as well as others I've listened to, but I listen to him because I like Baldacci's books. I initially hated having a second voice doing the women's lines, but eventually got used to it.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It just held my attentionAny additional comments?
Please, please, PLEASE stop adding sound effects to audio books. It's stupid and distracting.Omit the sound effects!
