My Cockpit. My Rules.

Dex Jameson is an arrogant ass.

It's my first day on the job as a stewardess working on a billionaire's private jet, and the cocky pilot is already trying to hit my landing strip.

I've always had a thing for pilots, but this arrogant jerk is going to cure me of that.

I can handle the looks. I can handle the comments. I can even handle the sexual invitation that he threw down between us. But when my boss makes us pretend that we're husband and wife during a business trip, my willpower starts to crumble away.

I'm trying hard to stay professional.

I'm trying my best to keep his tattooed biceps at arm's length.

But this hot alpha pilot knows how to push all the right buttons and has all the right moves.

Buckle up. It's going to be a bumpy ride.

Contains mature themes.

A LOL LIGHT ROM/COM AS OPPOSITES ATTRACT

You have one arrogant laid back cocky womanizing Pilot and a feisty sassy uptight Stewardess who find themselves working together on a private flight for a billionaire trying to sell sixty yachts to a Prince living on a remote island with a hareem of sixty willing women. Well they say opposites attract, and the hero and heroine in this particular story were certainly polar opposites who didn't get off to a good start as Mr. Cool Calm and Oh So Capable meets Ms. Rules Regulations and Responsibilities. But, when they both get very different offers that are too good to refuse, they have to pretend to be Mr. and Mrs. Happily Married for a day.. however one day stretches into more. More tumultuous days - partly spent hurling insults, bickering, ribbing and trading quick-witted humorous banter with each other - but along the way they start to see that they're actually perfect for each other.

This was a lighthearted easy-going drama-lite quick fun romance with absolutely no depth or credibility.. but it did have humor, sex, quirky characters and an upbeat entertaining feel. There was a wee bit of angst from the billionaire's self-centred bitchy trophy wife and a Prince who wanted his own way. It was dual POV (mainly heroine's) and the narration was ok.. but I have to say Alexander Cendese's laughably bad female voice was almost cartoonish and needs a LOT of work.

Worth a credit? I did enjoy it and it made some dull chores fun - and if you're looking for a light rom/com then yes this is creditworthy.. however if you'd prefer more depth and drama to a story then IMO perhaps skip this.

Heavy Turbulence

This was a cheesy but entertaining story. The banter between Dex and Riley was full of hostility, but ended up being cute. I didn’t care for the drinking in the plane, it seemed unethical and unrealistic. I did like the story, just wish there was a little more of Dex and Riley getting to actually know each other.
I love Alexander Cendese, he’s the reason why I listened to this book. He is always fantastic. Noelle Bridges was great as well.

Funny romance

So I listened to Wellhung in Vegas that was labeled a rom com but really didn’t seem like it. This story was much funnier. It actually reminded me of some British comedic plays. I didn’t found Wellhung to be a good story but not funny.

Dex starts off as a man-whore and ends up down a twisted path by the end. How can you not love a HEA?

This is one of MANY audible books where I like the male narrator as the male character and the female character as the female but don’t love them as the opposite. Noelle does a better male narration than Alexander does female. I love Alexander though, to be sure. But, again, like many books, the male narrator makes the female lead sound like a cartoon character, bauble head. The female narrator makes the male lead sound much sweeter and soft than his character really is. In this case, if Noelle and Alexander swapped every other chapter but then did the dialogue for Riley & Dex respectively, I would have LOVED this production.

Overall, I enjoyed both stories. In the future, I would listen to something else by Kimberly Fox. I enjoyed the twists that took me from start to finish and was happy with how entertained I was for an evening.

Good job Ms Fox, Ms Bridges, & Mr. Cendese.

Pretty good!

I loved the story line, a gal gets a job as a billionaire flight attendant but soon regrets her choice when she meets the arrogant, bad boy player pilot, the two immediately begin a hostile banter and growing sexual tension, then their boss asks them to pretend to be married for a business deal. I liked everything up till the end, DeX should have told her everything that happened, not just accepted what others told her and then just went straight to taking her back it was weird and awkward, he did make a huge mistake, but if he had told her everything that happened since then it would have made more sense. She was super stubborn then just quit without a real explanation from him, and he never gives her one. It seemed rushed at the end.

I don't know how this happened

I honestly came across this because I fell in love with Noelle Bridges' voice. Her narration skills brought not only the story oomph that wasn't there but does great character work. Mr.Cendese on the other hand, had the WORST female impressions ever. It didn't matter what woman he was voicing they were all whiney and cringe worthy. The writing of the story was okay but the story itself was bad, if that makes sense. Like it was built on a fan fiction post.
