Publisher's Summary

A bestselling author known for her steamy, modern romances, Sandra Brown creates vivid portraits of flesh and blood characters. With her clever, clear plotting, she glowingly captures couples as they discover new passions.

Fiery Blair Simpson's only ambition in life is dancing, but knee injuries force her to postpone her promising career on Broadway for six long months. Seeking a quieter life by moving to a small town, she focuses on her recovery and return to the stage. But her attractive new landlord, Sean Garrett, diverts her attention by bringing new feelings to life in her heart.

Sandra Brown's characters glow with the excitement of blossoming love, fervent longing, and tender heartbreak. Peter Francis James' talented narration makes Heaven's Price pure bliss.

Not worth the price

I have been a fan of Sandra Brown for years but this is without a doubt one of most boring love stories ever. Nothing happens and it is read as if the narrator does not like it much either. Not even the kids in this story make a dent in the charmingness factor.

Slow

I couldn't read the whole book. Vague story line, mostly descriptive sex. Much prefer some suspense that Sandra Brown can do so well. I was completely disappointed with this book.

Did Sandra Brown really write this?

I'm a huge Sandra Brown fan, I've read most of her books. This was a huge disappointment. The male lead comes off as a bully who practically rapes "his love" shortly after their meeting. Too many sappy love scenes that missed the mark. Not worth the credit or time.

Short story

This story could have been written as a short 2h story. In my 78yr old life, I have not finished 6 books. Heaven’s Price almost became the 7th book.

Maybe because it's from the 80's???

First, I have to say I could not finish this book. I didn't even get too far. The male protagonist took complete advantage of her and did not take No for an answer. She was dumb as a rock. And the 80's clothing and moustache were a real turn off. I liked the narrator and thought he did a fine job.

Great book

Sandra Brown never lets me down. She writes in such a way that includes one as if she were there experiencing every thing as it happens
