Heaven waits!

I'm not sure of my purpose in life however, I do believe when it's fulfilled
my time on earth will be up. Looking forward to finding out what God has in store for me.
I am thankful for this beautiful and moving story. I loved the narrator's voice.

Loved it!

loved it! so much to consider and contemplate. need to have an open mind if brought up in certain literal religions, this book satisfied all the questions in the nooks and crannies of my brain. My mind can get really complex when it comes to “God”. I resonated with so much of this and this book leaves me feeling okay.

Believe

Jesus Is The Way. Jesus is the way to eternal life with God. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord for believers.

Short and Quick

Is there anything you would change about this book?

This is a short story about one man's near death experience. I don't find it to be of sound doctrine. It presumes that we still have choices to make about our salvation after we die, and that there is another place of eternity outside of heaven and hell.

Would you recommend Heaven's Gate to your friends? Why or why not?

I would not recommend this book for a number of reasons. It was too short and then narrated very quickly - not much room for character development or entertainment value. I also did not think it was true to scripture.

What three words best describe Dow Escalante’s performance?

Way too fast.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

No, thank you.

remember your first?

My first choice "Heaven is for Real" was to be my first ever audio book. I should've trusted my instinct. I don't know if it was the narrator, or the story itself, but I began to feel like a third grader being read to just before nap time. I'd like to believe that this book is a factual recount of his experience, so I will. However, I'm that person who wants to "not" believe all these stories because I want to be MADE to believe that the other side has been seen, and that it truly exists. Book trade-ins are allowed, correct? And it's a no questions asked, if not satisfied...? Cool-
