Publisher's summary

Mathew Dunsratty just punched his fist through the biggest hornet nest there ever was. Now he'll be lucky if he can survive.

The most powerful and evil time diver ever wants him dead. Matt's forced to trust a mysterious woman who is a fellow traveler with a very shrouded past. Will she help Matt, or is she the ultimate femme fatale angling to exact revenge on him? The more Matt learns about the world of time diving, the more he realizes he's in way over his head.

Matt also learns that his newly discovered powers of time diving have amazing fringe benefits. When not in mortal danger, he has an opportunity to wander the globe and wander time. A chance encounter with a quirky fellow time diver leads him to his greatest adventure yet, a voyage on none other than the ill-fated Titanic. It turns out sailing on the doomed ship is part of the time diver's Grand Tour, a must-see-and-do experience. So he dines in style and rubs elbows with the rich and haute, all the while trying to ignore their horrible fate.

Have you ever fantasized about flying with the crew of Apollo 11 on humanity's first-ever journey to the moon in 1969? Matt makes a serious attempt to join the crew on their historic mission because... well, who wouldn't want to be part of that epic quest?

Throughout his seemingly never-ending series of time travel, Matt tries to settle down and enjoy the simple life he once knew and still yearns for. A sleepy town along the California coast is the perfect spot for him to rejoin society and begin to contribute in a more conventional and less perilous manner.

But, of course, he cannot escape his past. His casual time diving acquaintance from his past hunts Matt down in his hidden new life. The man forces Matt to participate in an insane and dangerous crime. This maniac plans to steal a working nuclear submarine and make it his fortress home. If Matt refuses, millions will die as part of the lunatic's revenge.

In every life, there comes a critical moment when one must choose to do the right thing or pick a safer alternative. Matthew Dunsratty stands on the edge of this nightmare scenario and must decide which leap he will make. He is all too aware that he must choose wisely, or the light of hope may well extinguish for all of us.

Matthew grew on me.

Enjoyed the series. All 3 had intriguing storylines. I did listen to the first in the series twice just to get in the rhythm of the story premise. Really different way to write about the travel.

really enjoyed all three books in this series

each one of them has been worth the credits. it starts with him just diving into his own past and making suggestions but becomes a more traditional time travel atory mechanics.

Funny, Witty, and charming!

If you like Craig’s Humor in The Forever, you’ll love this series. Fun listen but also engaging and technical at the same time! Also loved the ship reference to Jon Ryan!!
