There was nothing left.

I looked at the landscape, unable to miss its barren coldness; one that had been caused by the insatiable appetites of those in power.

I loved this short post-apocalyptic story. I'd love to see the author expand more on it too. I want to know more about the red and blue mists and more about the girl's journey. Excellent narration. I love the accent!
