Cute story

I give this story five stars because it is a cute love story. Blind date set up by the male main characters dad. The female narrator was awesome, I did find the male narrator a little monotone. This story was long which I liked. I also read this out of order from the others in the series and it gave nothing away. I do want to continue and looking forward to the next in the series.

Great book

I love this series. Kelly Elliott always outdoes herself. The narration on this boom was spot on.

Loved this Second Chance Romance!

I loved this sweet and swoony second chance romance! Brighton Rogers has a career and life that she loves, but still feels the pull to her small home town and the family and friends she loves. Her boss asks her to be his sons' date at a company party and she agrees. She was not prepared for the charming, sexy man, Luke Morrison, who would sweep her off her feet. She works so hard that she never knew he was a famous Hollywood leading man, making Luke intrigued by her right from the start. Luke once worked for his father as a lawyer, but felt the calling to be an actor. He has enjoyed his successful career, and didn't know something was missing until he met Brighton. They now spend as much time together as they can, keeping their relationship a secret. Brighton doesn't want pressure from her mother or her boss if they knew she was dating Luke. Luke doesn't want the press to hound Brighton for fear she would leave him. But after a year, they decided to try being open with everyone. Unfortunately between someone playing games, and the pressure of the press, Brighton wasn't prepared and left Luke and both their hearts completely broken. Now they must decide if they are strong enough to fight for the happiness and love they know they share. This was such a sweet, emotional, and steamy romance. Brighton and Luke were so perfect together. I loved how much fun they had together, and with their friends and family.
Tyler Johnson, and Ava Lucas were amazing as they brought this wonderful story to life. They nailed all the characters perfectly, making me feel every emotion they went through, and made me laugh out loud, cry, and totally swoon. They helped make this heartfelt, sweet & steamy romance even more entertaining!

Hearts in Motion

Hearts in Motion is book 5 in the Boggy Creek Valley series by Kelly Elliott. This is Brighton and Luke’s story and I absolutely loved this listening to this book. I thought the narrators did great job in making you feel like you are right there in Boggy Creek going on this emotional journey of heartbreak and healing with Bree and Luke. I can't recommend this book enough. It deserves so much more than 5 stars!!

Steamy Romance

I enjoyed listening to this audiobook. I loved the characters of Luke and Brighton. They were meant to be. They did have their doubts because of distance and careers.
Ava Lucas and Tyler Johnson were well paired in narration of this book.

Such an adorable story with amazing characters! 😍

This really is an adorable story! This isn't my favorite genre but this author has made me think twice about it. The story is fully entertaining and the characters are charming. Luke and Brighton fast became some of my favorites of this series! Luke’s cooking skills just add so much to this book! Ha ha! Sorry Luke but you have so much more going for you! Brighton is a wonderful character! I was glad she stood up for herself and came home to BC. I really enjoyed how Luke brings the fun out of her.

Secondary characters are ones that make me smile! The parents of BOTH characters are lovely and very cute! Then there is Kyle! I loved all he did for Brighton and how everyone reacted to them when it was found out. So Funny! What a great set of scenes! Their relationship is delightful! Kyle, Kyle, Kyle I can jot wait for your story! Last single man!

Overall I loved listening to this story! It really made me smile more than once! Boggy Creek is a town I would not mind visiting. The narration is provided by Ava Lucas and Tyler Johnson. They both really embodied the characters and helped bring them to life. They are the perfect choices for this book!

Just a real enjoyable listen!

Second Chance Romance

I enjoyed listening to Kelly Elliott’s Review Hearts in Motion, book 5 in her Boggy Creek Series.

Luke and Brighton are set up on a date by his dad who is her boss. They have an instant connection and jump into what they think will be a short fling. Both immediately know it’s more but they keep their relationship on the down low because of Luke’s fame and the unrelenting pressure they would face from the press if their connection is revealed. Trying to keep his professional life separate from his personal life stresses their budding relationship. Things come to a head and Brighton decides she deserves more and walks. During their separation, she quits her job and moves home Boggy Creek. A few months pass and the story picks up with Luke showing up at her parents B&B. At first, she’s not having it but her feelings never changed and she decides they need to talk. Luke reveals that he’s taken the time apart and made future plans and makes the ultimate gesture - leaving the business and settling in Boggy Creek for their HEA.

I felt like the choice of narrator for each character was spot on. Their pacing allowed me to follow the story with no distractions. I prefer two narrators over one person reading both parts.

I would recommend this audiobook to friends who are interested in second chance romance with a good storyline and enough heat to keep the story interesting from start to finish.

I've read and now listened to this book because it's such a great story.

The only way possible to improve upon this book is to give it 2 narrators perfect for these characters.
Ava and Tyler personified Brighton and Luke!!
Ava captured Bree's attitude and sass perfectly . Tyler is great choice for Luke with his classic looks, refined background and thoughtful personality!

I am loving this series and spending time with the characters of Boggy Creek and this fifth book is Brighton “Bree” Rogers’ story. Bree’s character intrigued me from the moment she first appeared in the series. She is a woman with secrets, starting with the real reason she left her job as a successful divorce attorney with a prominent law firm in Boston and returned home. Also, she never talked about the one who broke her heart either. This book shows us what went on in Boston and who she met and fell in love with, Luke Morrison, her boss’s son, and it was her boss who encouraged their relationship. Luke’s father is not happy with his chosen career, despite going to law school and passing the bar exam, he went to Hollywood to become an actor. Bree, a workaholic, does not know many film stars, so she did not recognize him from his movies, a refreshing change for him. Actually, his father gave her the wrong impression of him, which was hysterical when they first met. The two hit it off right from the go and when he explains who he is and how the paparazzi could be a problem, they agree to keep their relationship a secret. But she found dating a movie star a bit more challenging, and it was not because of the paparazzi. When it gets too much for her, she bails and he did not even stop her. This beautifully plotted story did not just grab my attention and captivate it the entire book, but it tugged on my heartstrings as well. I loved how everything played out in this book, there is plenty of drama, a touch of angst, charming and heartfelt moments and a romance that was meant to be. Kelly Elliott, thank you for another wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride. It was great to see the characters from earlier books too, it is like seeing old friends.

These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to, and their narration enhances an already amazing story to another level. Swoony small town romance

I really enjoyed this one and now i want to go back and listen to first 4 books ! Music romance ✅ small town romance ✅ 2nd chance romance ✅ insta-love ✅. All my favorite tropes wrapped up in one . Narration was great. Ava Lucas is always a favorite but Tyler was a surprise. Will definitely be looking for more of his work. Lovely and sweet HEA!
