Seasiders,

News on the docks is Adelaide Bradley is back in Seaside, and rumor has it she’s here to stay! (No ring was spotted on her finger, I might add!) After eight long years of living in the big city and working for Massachusetts General, she has decided to return to the shores. One can only imagine how thrilled Barbara and Keegan are to have their oldest daughter back.

But it makes you wonder if Adelaide will continue to peruse her nursing career or is she here to help at her family’s restaurant, The Seaside Grill.

A little seagull has planted in my ear that Gannon Wilson is taking the news rather well, considering Adelaide broke his heart all those years ago. I did notice Gannon has been working more than usual, piloting that precious cargo through our ship channel. Maybe he is picking up extra hours to purchase a piece of jewelry, considering he was seen in Reef Jewelers only days ago.

We’re rooting for the two of them to reunite at least as friends. Everyone knows the former homecoming king and queen had a bright future ahead of them until…well…that’s another story for another issue, Seasiders!

Not my favorite narrator, great story!

I love Kelly Elliot, and have yet to find a book of hers I didn’t like, and this one is no different. I love the characters and I especially love that they didn’t make you wait till the end of the book to see if they would get back together, I wasn’t in love with the narration, but it wasn’t horrible. I will definitely continue the series.

Heartfelt, Sweet, and Sizzling Romance!

What a great start to The Seaside Chronicles series! This beautiful second chance love story is the exact reason why I love reading romance! Adelaide and Gannon's story is the perfect balance of emotional highs and lows of a heartfelt love story, rich, relatable characters, and deliciously steamy love scenes! Adelaide and Gannon were high school sweethearts who agreed to separate to follow their dreams. They have never forgotten the other, never getting serious with anyone because no one ever measured up to the one who will always hold their heart. Now they are both back home and want to begin the life they have always dreamed of. This was so much fun watching them find their way back to each other, discovering how to be a part of each other's lives and careers, while also trying to not be the center of the whole town's attention. There were so many laugh out loud moments but many sweet and heartwarming moments as well, not to mention their fiery passion!
Grace Grant, Teddy Hamilton were amazing as they brought this wonderful story to life. They nailed all the characters perfectly, making me feel every emotion they went through, and made me laugh, cry, and totally swoon. They helped make this heartfelt, sweet & steamy romance even more entertaining!

Loved it

I was so happy when I found out Kelly was starting a new series. This 1st book did not disappoint. Loved the story line and Gannon & Addy. A really great love story. Can’t wait for the rest of the series and see where all the family members stories go. Teddy Hamilton is one of my favorite narrators and he did an awesome job. Loved reading and listening to this book. Highly recommend

Fate brings them back to forever

Addy and Gannon had big plans after high school that took them in different directions. They vowed that if it was meant to be, fate would bring them back together. And it does.

Beautiful journey for Gannon and Addy to their forever. Great kick off to a new series. Excited for the next book!

Loved it - Great story and great narration

I was beyond excited when I heard that Kelly Elliott had a new series releasing. Returning Home was everything I have come to expect from a book by Ms.Elliott and so much more.
Adelaide (Addie) Bradley and Gannon Wilson’s story quickly had me invested and such was the writing I could easily picture The Seaside Grill and Seaside. I love stories set in small towns and Ms. Elliott is one of my favourite authors in this genre.
Narrated by Grace Grant and Teddy Hamilton they brought the story to life for me. Their voices were easy to listen to and did justice to the story that Ms. Elliott wove.
This second chance at love story ticked all the boxes for me.Having loved one another and parted, it appears that fate has more in store for Addie and Gannon and I for one was so excited. I am looking forward to reading more in this series and if this book is anything to go by then she has another inning series in her hands.

A fantastic listen and a great start to a new series

Let’s be honest if you are a Kelly Elliott fan it’s exciting when she announces she has a new series coming out, well Returning Home (The Seaside Chronicles #1) is everything you would expect from this very talented romance author. This is the start of something very special !!!!!
This is Adelaide (Addie) Bradley and Gannon Wilson’s story and it’s set in the small town of
Seaside ( I love this name). This couple have a past, they loved and they walked away but fate seems intent on pushing them together so will the second time around be any better, will love win this time around….one click to find out.
This book ticked all my boxes, I adored Addie and I fell hard and fast for Gannon, I love Seaside and it’s residents and what can I say about The Seaside Grill apart from I want to work there. Looking forward to what’s coming next out if this small town.

5 Going Home Again Stars!!

There is nothing better than starting a new series by a favorite author…. New characters to fall in love with, a new town to get to know and love stories that touch my heart… this is exactly what this first book in Kelly Elliott’s newest series The Seaside Chronicles embodies!! And with the selection of Grace Grant and Teddy Hamilton as the narrators for this book, I not only got to enjoy reading Ms. Elliott’s words, but I had them truly brought to life in my ears as both Grace and Teddy did a phenomenal job of bringing this entire story and Seaside to life for me in a completely different way than when I read it.

The minute this baby hit my device I started the book immediately. I 100% fell in love with Adelaide (Addie) and Gannon from the get go. They have a strong connection and a past that was filled with love and passion, but for reasons we find out, they walked away from each other thinking they’d never have that connection again.

Well, fast forward several years and Addie is back in Seaside and let’s just say, their hearts and bodies remember the love they had for each other. But can they both move past what made them walk away to begin with?

I loved how this story progressed and their coming back together had me all swoony and fanning myself. It’s true that once you’ve found your soulmate, even if there’s a detour in a forever love, it’s meant to be. I also loved how there’s a townie newsletter that let’s everyone in Seaside know what’s going on with our H/h at some of the most opportune moments!

This book is a great beginning to this wonderful series and I for one cannot wait for Sutton’s story!

Beautiful story!

I absolutely love everything that Kelly Elliott writes! Returning Home is the first book in her Seaside Chronicles series. This book tells the story of childhood friends Addie and Gannon.

Addie and Gsnnon are graduating high school and getting ready to pursue their future goals. They are heading different directions so they agree to end their relationship. They made a promise that if they weren't in serious relationships later in life they would get back together. They both end up back in Seaside and quickly rekindle their relationship. This is beautiful small town romance about two people who are meant to be together.

I loved the connection between Addie and Gannon. The secondary characters added lots of depth to the storyline. I can't wait for the next book in this series!

Great start to a new series!

This is the first book by this author I have listened to and I really enjoyed it. Teddy Hamilton and Grace Grant brought it to life. I'm looking forward to listening to book
2!
