Sssoooo Goood!

I am new to R.J. Blain and I just finished book 3 of this series. I have listened to them back-to-back and hab found them fun, amusing, and well thought out. The narrator does a great job of making this story fantastic listen. You won’t be sorry if you buy this series🥰

Cute Short Story

Storyline felt too rushed, overall I liked the story, I just think it could have been longer.

This is a cute and fast story with a nice twist. Unexpected. I really enjoyed it, but I do wish it had been longer.

Fun, if you can paint between the lines

There’s so much unexplained, and so many things happening off-screen that you need to be someone who can forgive the half-formed story and just go with the homicidal fun of it. How does a woman end up with a goddess baby? Why do goddesses grow at lightspeed? Who exactly was her ex? How is it that a court system in a magical world can’t prevent magical shenanigans? Pay no attention to those pesky begging questions and instead enjoy the cozy story of a single mom finding a partner and family willing to help a lady bury a body. As a short novella, I just focused on the fun.
