Princess Gisela of Steinland was born without color. Albino. Surprised to find this title and thought I might like the story and now after finishing the book I can definitely say how much I really enjoyed this book and how much I would like to find another book that has a similar story because I originally didn't know if I was even interested in stories like this book!

I wanted to leave a review for anyone who had trouble liking the characters at the beginning of the book. Stick with it because the book is great! There are many twists and turns. I now see that my initial dislike for the main character, versus how much I loved her in the end, was meant to show the reader her growth through the journey. I also loved the underlying conflict the main character has about whether God is good or cruel. I definitely recommend!
