Heads Will Roll is an Audible Original from Saturday Night Live star Kate McKinnon and her cocreator/costar (and real-life sister) Emily Lynne. I demand that Audible instantiate a sixth star
I knew going in that this thing would be awesome. Some comedic actors have a direct link to my funny bone: Kate McKinnon is the living embodiment of my funny bone.
But this is far from being a one woman show. Emily Lynne took me to that wow place, especially with the singing: Ah, the singing.
Clever and witty, and brought to life in vivid colours through the talented voice work of an amazing cast, and the overall audio production is superb.
Seriously Audible, I need 6 stars.

Love it!
SO damn funny! Took me a min to acclimate and get used to all the voices and sounds, but after a few minutes I got totally hooked. There are so many hilarious characters. I’ve never heard anything like this and can’t wait to listen to more!!!!

Exceeded expectations! They are both so talented!
Loved it! I listened to the entire series straight through on a flight today. I'm a huge SNL fan and was excited to listen but I was afraid it was going to be too cutesy. It was not, it is smart and current and heart felt and I will listen to it again for sure!

Just listened to Ep 1, I'm HOOKED!!
Wow, this show is hilarious and ridiculous, and exactly what you'd expect from Kate McKinnon! This is a great story, and Emily Lynne is a hilarious and great newcomer! I like the story and the acting is really great.

Incredible!
I had been so excited to listen to this when I first heard Kate McKinnon and Emily Lynne were doing this project together. I signed up and pre-ordered it months ago and I was not disappointed! Being a huge Kate McKinnon fan might have made me more likely to enjoy it, though.
The book is so goofy and hilarious, and I loved this brilliant mix of modern and medieval. It has a lot of sexual themes (again, as a Kate fan I can only say good things about this aspect :--), some might find it excessive though). I don't usually enjoy fictional stories, but loved this one, I did not find it too ridiculously made up. Really enjoyed the singing parts as well, Kate and Emily both have absolutely beautiful singing voices and I'm so glad they included so much of it!
What I did find a bit bothersome were the loud sound effects, I was often startled by them (granted, I was listening to it on a very high volume, so probably my fault).
Also loved hearing a lot of the SNL cast! Aidy, Heidi and others did a fantastic job as always.
The book was so funny and I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't take themselves too seriously and can enjoy a not-so-serious storyline and some dirty jokes. I think Kate and Emily and the other creators did a fantastic job creating this and you can tell they had a lot of fun working on this!
I really hope she does more of these and until she does, I'll be re-listening to this one again and again! What a brilliant woman - absolutely adore her!

Pretty funny stuff but not for kids. If you enjoy Kate McKinnon and “over-the-top SNL”, you will like this. Very clever. I gifted to my 40-something daughter. She deserves a good laugh.
