Publisher's Summary

Steven dropped to his knees next to the paramedic. "Jenna."

Her eyes opened and in them he saw shock and tears and guilt. "I'm so sorry, Steven. I should have listened to you."

Steven noticed the smears of blood on her worn Duke T-shirt. "Any other wounds?" he asked the paramedic.

"Only her throat. The blood on her shirt appears to be her own."

"We found bloody handprints on the carpet where she crawled from the bedroom," said Uniform Two. Steven's gut seethed as he pictured her scared and hurt and crawling through her own house like a wounded animal. For that alone, whoever did this to her would pay....

Karen Rose rocks it again!

Karen Rose writes some of the most three-dimensional characters I️ have ever seen. They become so real to me and they are human beings. They make mistakes like the rest of us. They mysteries are so intense and hard to figure out (which I️ love!). The personal lives are very deep and involved as well. Yes there is a love story in here, but it is really just a small part of the overall story. I have eagerly snapped up every one I’ve seen since the very first one I listened to! Thank you!!

Fan Of This Narrator!

I’m not sure where the negative comments are coming from on the narrator’s performance. I’ve been a fan of his for quite a while now and his performances are always fantastic!

While the story itself left me wanting a bit I found the performance to be entertaining.

speed up narration

I read this book years ago and was glad to find it on audible but the narrator spoke soooooo slow. Finally I sped up it, however the book was long and tedious. Found myself yelling at the phone and shaking my head, but I did finally finish it. This is not one I will keep or listen to again.

Love Karen's books

Karen Rose is one of my favorite authors. I love how we can reconnect with characters from her older books in some of her newer books & how some of them even get their own story (like Eve Wilson). I can understand how audiobooks will sometimes need to be reread. However, I think it is important to make sure that the reader is good. I had this book on CD before and loved listening to the reader. Michael Ferraiuolo isn't a bad reader, it's just his female voices are cringe worthy. Everytime he reads a ladies character, it makes me think of a weak character. If other books need to be reread, please choose someone else.

Just enough suspense

There are two points-of-interest in his book; there’s a love story and a murder mystery. I liked the family that we’re introduced too which presents the love story that was a little annoying at times. At some point the writer interjected a third-person into the love triangle (so-to-speak) which made for a few tense moments. But the main focus throughout the book is the murder mystery which the police was working on where the suspect was somewhat unorthodox.

I couldn't stop listening to this!

Have You Seen Her is the second book in the Romantic Suspense series. This story is about one of the secondary characters from book one, Don't Tell, but you don't have to have read that story to enjoy this one.

I have a fairly short list of favorite male narrators and Michael Ferraiuolo is on that list. I've mostly listened to his M/M romance performances but author Karen Rose was recommended to me and when I found out that Michael had narrated a couple of her books, I had to give them a try.

I thought book one was great but Have You Seen Her totally blew me away. Not only was the story so compelling that I didn't get anything done for nearly two full days, Michael's performance was outstanding. I am left speechless at the range of voices this man can do.

Have You Seen Her is a gritty and thrilling romantic suspense. Special Investigator Steve has his hands full with a serial killer targeting high school cheerleaders. He also has three sons and two of them are having problems. His oldest son has stopped doing well in school and has become belligerent. One of his teachers is concerned enough to contact Steven.

That's just the beginning and there is so much more. The story has twists and turns that I did not see coming. If you love a good romantic suspense you should enjoy this one. Like most good thrillers, this story has graphic content concerning what the serial killer does to his victims.

Thrilling serial murder mystery!!

I have to say, this book got me! I could not figure out who the killer was! When it was revealed I was actually shocked! It takes a lot to shock me, I think the length, amount of detail, and multiple POV really work together to create alot of suspicion and doubt about characters along the way, leaving you unable to identify the killer! The murder mystery made up for our 2 stubborn and stupid at times lovers in this book. While they made me want to bang my head at times, it didnt detract from the story! The thing I love about this author is seeing how all the background plots come together with the major plot. it makes a long book captivating and interesting! I used my credit on a book later in the series not u included in escape and I'm not regretting it! This would definitely be worth a credit!
