Now it's up to Maureen and her spirited sleuths to sort through the red herrings and bait a hook for a killer before someone else ends up sleeping with the fishes . . .

Characters Worked Well Together

Wonderful characters, suspenseful story about someone stealing artifacts over the years and a murder. Humans, animals & ghosts get involved in this story.

Good one

This was exciting from beginning to end. There is one more in this series and it comes out I believe in May. So I look forward to that.

This series is worth your time. The characters, the setting, and the story are definitely fun!

Good plots, good writing…..sorry that your proofreader did not catch the mistake on the second floor office room number! It just screamed at me- that’s the wrong number! A minor error that didn’t detour from the enjoyment of the story. When I first heard Cooney narrate, I was not impressed. Her voice was too soft and almost monotone. As I have traveled through Perry’s stories, Cooney has done a better job with each reading.

I would have liked more interaction with the ghosts. I thought the story was a bit lengthy and got a little side tracked.
