Another Great Haunted Liverpool

Tom Slemen does a great job telling these haunted stories and they are a lot of fun to listen to. I really like how all these different supernatural stories unfold. This volume had a lot of interesting stories and I really like how Slemen puts you right there in story. This volume seemed to have a more diverse collection of stories, but I can't say that this was my favorite of all the volumes I have heard.

I’m a big fan of Nigel Peever’s production and am in awe at the amount of effort he puts into them. Peever does such a great job with these stories and his voices and accents really bring each story to life. He really provides the shine to these stories. All the extra sound effects added to the story make it a wonderful listen that is a must to experience.

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

weird and wonderful

This one was not as scary as the others I've listened to. I found it more of a shock and awe and how did that happen story. It kept my interest peaked. My favorite was the elf story- very cute.
I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

Excellent series of books

This is a wonderful book series, although I do prefer the ones by this narrator. The sound effects, music, and narration are all amazing. The stories are just creepy enough.

Great collection

I really enjoyed the variety of the stories in this book and the tone in which they were told gave a very human aspect to most of the events described by the people who experienced them.

The story of the lady who had nightmares about being chased by hounds and experiencing the terror and then relief at changing the ending was truly terrifying and heartbreaking.

Once again Nigel Peever gives a fantastic performance, his voices for the people telling the stories are great.

The only thing I didn't like in this book was that some of the sound affects didn't seem to match the action they were playing over and were very jarring and distracting, particularly in some of the earlier stories.

Other than that I enjoyed everything about this book.

I was given this audiobook for free and have left this review voluntarily.
