Publisher's Summary

I never thought my perp walk would lead to true love.

Then again, I never thought I’d be arrested on RICO charges and hauled away in zip ties on camera for the world to see, minutes after closing the most amazing deal of my career.

And all of it in front of my biggest rival, billionaire wunderkind Ian McCrory.

I am broke.

I am disgraced.

I am alone.

I am a sucker.

But the worst part? I have to go back to my hometown and live in my bedroom filled with relics from my childhood.

Lisa Frank never made me so mad before.

Just when I needed a rescue, I got one - in the form of help from my biggest rival.

He can’t bring back my money.

He certainly can’t bring back my reputation or my pride.

But there’s one thing he can bring back to me.

A sense of hope.

Maybe even love.

Ian sees something in me no one else does, and he’s relentless about making me see it, too. As we grow closer, I’m starting to see that while my entire life used to be a lie, the truth is staring me in the present - and it’s a truth I like very, very much, hot eyes and gorgeous smile and all.

But I have to be careful.

I can’t be too...that’s right...hasty.

The final book in the USA Today best-selling Do-Over Series (Fluffy, Perky, Feisty), as Mallory's sister, Hastings "Hasty" Monahan gets her turn at a happily ever after that starts off with an arrest.

Hers.

And ends with a surprisingly cheesy happily ever after.

Humble pie!

After Hasty was such a beyaatch in the earlier books, was looking forward to seeing her get a dose of humility and this was done so well! It was good to get to know her better and to witness her growth journey as it unfolded. As always, Erin Mallon was the perfect narrator! Overall it was worth the wait and a great end to the series!

Erin Mallon

Narrated by Erin Mallon. I know if I see those four words on a release it’s going to be good. I read all of the books in the do over series and I loved each one. I kept wishing they would introduce more characters so they could continue this Series. I’m sorry to see them go but I do look forward to finding another series by the same author.

i really like this series

I'm so sad this is the last one in the series this was a fantastic series. The narrator was spot on. The accents the voices it was fantastic! The story is basically boy meets girl they have conflict they end up together. But that's just too simple for this story there's quite a bit of conflict and she grows she decides to live her life how she probably should have to begin with him how much she missed out because she did it for somebody else for so long and that dude was a creep. in walks Ian, He's totally different He's hot He's wealthy I mean this is a romance story but the real story that happens in this book is great. Hastings comes home she meets up with her old childhood friend it's like they never left she meets other people that she didn't particularly care for in school but it's all different now and she's seeing herself a little bit different she grows a lot and of course there's an epilogue who doesn't like those it's a really good story I wish there was one more because these characters and their stories were just fantastic they're friends that you wish you had

I couldn't put it down

This book was probably one of favorite books of this series. in my opinion it was what a romantic comedy is supposed to be. Hilarious, emotional and sweet, with a hea ending. Ms.Kent did an amazing job yet again.

Loved it!

This laugh out loud romcom hits the spot! We’ve seen Hastings in the other books in the series and it was great to see her star in her own book and find her happily ever after.
You could not go with a better narrator for this character. Erin Mallon brings Hastings to life and is such a joy to listen to.

Live Julia Kent’s books

I was t a fan of Hasty’s character from the previous books - who was really- she did a great job of making her likable. Great book. Made me stop what I was doing (working-oops) to enjoy in full.

Don’t be too Hasty to judge!

When I learned that this series wasn’t going to end with the three and that our fourth book was going to feature the sister that we all see climbing over dead bodies to make a deal I was skeptical. So much so that even though I purchased and downloaded on release day it took me two days to listen. This is out of character for me.
Hastings is that one character that I feel like I’ve seen grow on the page. She grew and changed and came out the other side the same person but a better version of that person. She was brash and rude and driven. Hastings is still driven. She just isn’t as rude as before. That’s a good thing translated onto to page!
The romance is adorable. There’s so much chemistry. There’s so much want and need. They are so much the perfect kind of people that make each other better. I love how much they are compatible and I love that he doesn’t want to change her. He’s not saying stop that! He’s saying “I love you because you are so driven and I want you to be happy. I don’t need anything else.”

Erin Mallon is the voice Goddess that we always hear. Girl gives good voice, y’all.

A great final book in the Do-Over series.

Having read AND listened to all the other books in this series I must admit that I started listening to this story with apprehension about what was to come. Hastings has popped up in the other books in a small way but she isn't necessarily spoken about as a friendly character so I was thrilled to find that I could really feel for her and really liked her.

I certainly have to congratulate Julia Kent in being able to change my feelings towards Hastings so much that I think this was the best book in this series. Like all the others they can be read independently but the experience is enhanced by reading them all and in order.

The narrator got the intonation and emotion just right and it was a pleasure to listen to.

Finishing the series in a warm hug...

This really was a fantastic end to the series. Not only did you feel like you really got to know Hastings and why she was like she was, you get to like her even more too! I really rooted for Hastings and her seeing the light in life... And Ian...  Just wow! 🖤

I loved how all our previous main characters were part of the story like a comfort blanket, which I know happens with many series but with this "Do Over" series, I just felt closer to the characters and the world they lived in!

The performance of this series has been absolutely fantastic ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful

This whole series has been a beautiful journey and this one did not disappoint either. I honestly felt like I was a part of the book like these were my friends. I’ve laughed and teared up and cheered the characters on. This is the sign of a fantastic author and novel. Loved this so much

What a hilarious conclusion to this great series

Oh I'm going to miss this great bunch of friends and the unbelievable situations they get into. Poor Hasty had a nasty shock courtesy of her husband, but Ian comes to her rescue even though she views him as her nemesis. It was good how all the previous characters in this series have a share in the eventual HEA. The narrators did an amazing job of bringing all the characters to life and I definitely recommend this audiobook.
