Great story, umbrage voice is jarring

Love the audiobook; I think Collignon-Maurin did a good job, excepting the voice of Umbridge. I have to knock two points because it is incredibly jarring to hear, and I almost want to skip the parts where she talks, it is dreadful. I get her character, but the voice is just so high pitched!

J'aime le livre en audio; je pense que Collignon-Maurin a bien fait ce lecture, sauf la voix d'Ombrage. Il faut que je prenne deux étoiles pour cette voix parce qu'elle est vraiment désagréable, et j'ai failli passer les parties où elle parlait, c'est terrible. Je connais son caractère, mais la voix est trop aigue!

I am French so I really liked it and I recommend it for a high level French learner .

Great Perfomance

I love the Harry Potter books, and I’ve been listening to them in order in French. The narrators doe a wonderful job with all the characters. Really brings it to life. And a great way to brush up on my French!

Great voice acting (French version)

Great voice, really fun to listen to. The way he reads it is really clear.

I am removing a star because it doesn't sync progress with the Kindle book.

Worst Harry Potter book, by far, bad voiceing.

The plot makes me cringe throughout, in a very negative way. The main characters have terrible interactions through the entire story, Harry is an aggressive brat. I know people have found plenty of excuses as to why this is so, but none of them make reading/listening to this book more enjoyable. As for the reader for the French version, I don't like the new person. His Umbridge voice is terrible, to the point that I now fast forward through the parts in the story where he does his Umbridge voice. This book is already a chore to listen to, the Umbridge voice makes it almost unbearable. I know Umbridge is supposed to be evil but this Audible version makes her unlistenable. I've made it halfway through but constantly think about giving up on it because of how awful this entire experience has been. I can't wait for this book to be over. I'm hoping for better listening in book 6!
