Stephen Fry the best narrator on this planet.

There is nothing better than listening to Stephen Fry read stories, after a long day of work.

That voice

I want Stephen Fry to narrate every book on this site. If I had a choice, I would probably have either him or Morgan freeman narrate my life too!

Fantastic in every way

What did you love best about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Book 7?

Look, the story is wonderful, everyone knows that. But what really makes this book (all seven of them) is the narration. Stephen Fry is an amazing narrator. He actually gives everyone different voices so that I know before the text says so who is speaking. And the way he sets scenes with different cadence… you know something scary/exciting/funny/distressing is about to happen before it happens because of the way he reads it. And the way he does people’s voices when they’re scared or crying or drunk or whatever, just – wow. Even Harry’s inside voice really changes with his mood. It’s all brilliant and extremely impressive and so enthralling. I think I cried and laughed and paused what I was doing to stare in shock more while reading the books like this than I ever did reading them with my eyes. So all in all, the best narration I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. And some of the best stories as well.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Book 7?

The scene that “Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?”

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, big time. As it was, it only took me a few days, and I went on more walks than usual just to have more excuses for plugging in those headphones!

The fighting, the magic, the characters, EVERYTHING!

I love how it pulls kids imaginations in to their mind, how it makes you feel like you can do anything. Kids AND adult can listen to it and watch it!!!

Creature

Creature was rude but I liked how he ran into the Great Hall with the other house elves and attacked the death eaters

Gran narrador

Si que fue una saga maravillosa, y acompañada de un actor como Stephen Fry, fue lo que terminó de hacer más mágica esta serie.

Gracias!

Pure magic

Brilliant narration - complex story but necessary to tie all the ends together in this magnificent story.

Amazing story

The final book of the saga did not disappoint, the story is simply amazing. The only downside was that narrator was not the best at portrtaying women's voices and quite bad as Voldemort - instead of evil, cunning or scary he instead sounds just goofy.
