Publisher's Summary

“An unputdownable, super sexy read with lots of personality and tons of heart.” (All About Romance)

Welcome to Clean Slate Ranch: Home of tight jeans, cowboy boots and rough trails. For some men, it’s a fantasy come true.

Five Weddings and a Fake Boyfriend

City slicker Derrick Massey has always had a thing for cowboys. So a roll in the hay with Kendall “Slater” Stamos during a rustic weekend wedding is more than A-OK. But when Slater’s forced to hang up his saddle for the season, Derrick surprises even himself with his proposition: be my fake boyfriend and get my family off my back about finding a permanent partner.

Though unexpected, the arrangement is a win-win. Derrick gets a plus-one for a slew of summer weddings and Slater gets a place to stay while he recuperates…with lots of casual fun in between. Which is just how the sexy cowboy likes it: casual. Yet it’s obvious the chemistry between them is anything but.

With the countdown to their “breakup” on, the more time the two men spend together. And the more it becomes clear that what they have could be real, if only they let it be.

Need a Hugo Story

Love the whole series of books. Just Hugo needs a story. He's in just about every book but no background or anything on him.

enjoyed it

Would I listen to it again: yes ✔
Did the story keep me engaged: yes ✔
Was I invested in the characters: yes ✔

📖 Story comment: Good pace, interesting characters and delightful slow build romance. I'm happy Derrick found someone after losing Robin and I really enjoyed Slater's character - big tough cowboy with a soft gooey centre 😊.

🎧 Narrator comment: I love Greg Boudreaux as a narrator. Every book he narrates is a master performance. He has a good range of characters so its easy to distinguish them from each other and has a way of subtly altering his tone so it's easy to distinguish a characters inner monologue from the standard dialog which is a real skill for a narrator. He has good cadence, inflections and intonations and he really knows how to bring characters and their story to life.

Sealed the Deal

I honestly had my doubts that A.M. Arthur would be able to keep up this series as she drifted from the original main characters, but this one sealed the deal for me. Truly a great series! can't wait to read about Levi and George. I hope we get to read about Hugo's story after theirs. This series truly reminds me of Queer as Folk, but with even more of a wholesome perspective which surprised me. Love this series. Keep them coming!!!

Touching story of love

What it takes to get two men to tell each other that they are in love. This story takes it right to the end for them to decide they cant oor don't want live without each other, you rely on A M Arthur to get them together I'm the end for that HEA. The narrator is great 👍

More Clean Slate Please

I am so sad to have reached the end of this series. Each book has been unique and special in its own way, but somehow Derek and Slater’s journey was extra special. I sincerely hope the author comes back to this series and gives us more of the Clean Slate guys. And of course I hope Greg reads them aloud.
