Fitting title for a great story

Loved it and loved all the characters. Felt like I was living in the town of Christmas with all of them.

Happy Ever After in Christmas is a fun lighthearted and thoroughly entertaining book written by Debbie Mason. It is the 7th book in the Christmas, Colorado series and like the others in the series on audio before it, I enjoyed it immensely. This story had everything I want in a good book - great secondary characters, lots of humor, and a relatively clean romance.

Happy Ever After revolves around Jill Flaherty who is deputy extraordinaire in the little town of Christmas. No one knows law enforcement as much as she does, but her execution could use some "sensitivity" training. As she turns 30, she can't seem to find or keep a decent guy interested in her - primarily because she is continually comparing everyone to her long time crush and former pro hockey player Sawyer Anderson. The only problem is Sawyer is her big brother's best friend and he can't help but think of Jill as a young girl…until she enters his bar in a slinky red dress and high heels.

Becket Royce narrated this audiobook, as she did the other books in the Christmas, Colorado series. She is simply fantastic. Beckett's style is very natural with smooth overtones and subtle character nuances. I get totally immersed when listening to her narrations, frequently listening to late into the evening. I can't wait for the next book in this series!
