Surprisingly emotional conclusion

This wasn't as funny as the first two installments, but handled the switch to drama very well. Overall a very good trilogy. I'll probably listen to them again around Christmas.

Just an ok read

I listen to this whole series. I started out liking it but then there was zero romance in book 1. There was finally some romance in book 2 but by book 3 there was really no romance again. A few short sex scenes and a couple of mentions of out of town get sways but no details.

Everyone's stories are wrapped up in HEAs but by the time I got there, I just didn't care much. This whole series could have been done in one book, moved along at a good pace and it would have been much better.

A good book but the narration really made this book. I really like listening to this book I wish all books were presented like this one. Worth a credit enjoy your listen.

Excellent conclusion

This was the best marriage by contract I’ve listened. The performance was superb! I also loved characters and story development. I will look more from this author. Highly recommend!

Omg what an wonderful ending!

Where does Happily Ever Addendum rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I loved that the book went into their future 15 years. I have listened to over 253 books and this book by far out ranks the others because of the in depth coverage of their future, it just ended more completely for me. This books narration style ranks very high for me as well because it read as a play with 2 narrators acting against each other as opposed to a narrator who has to play both male and female characters in a scene. I believe this narration style helps the performers stay true to the character's emotions in the moment, instead of them focussing on trying to perform other gendered voices.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Happily Ever Addendum?

Spoiler alert..........the children. I love that Aiden and Lilly adopted Cole and she took him in and she treated him as her own child and that they also had children of their own. I love that Aiden fell in love first and wasn't afraid to remind her of his love even though she did not say it back for quite awhile.

What does April Lowe and Craig Jessen bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Awesome emotional performances! It doesn't read as well when a character cries on paper. Then the love scenes are different too because the performances make it jump off the page!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes, yes, yes! Tears, laughter, frustrations, swoons and hot flashes, all throughout this book.

Absolutely! It was a great listen.

The finale! That was by far the best ending I've listened to in a while.

The narrators did such an amazing job! The author was exceptional in her writing technique. Not many authors can pull off multiple POV's in a one book,much less a series, and not confuse the audience. Absolutely worth a credit!
