Another Steamy Story!
This couple meet in the steamy Guatemalan jungle. He's an Operator with HOT and she is a journalist who is held hostage along with ten other people by a drug cartel.
Wolf and Haylee have an instant connection. Their relationship grows as the harrowing rescue trip through the jungle and helicopter ride to a holding base proceeds. They discover they have mutual backgrounds as both their mothers are English Lit Teachers. They also have a mutual hatred for the drug trade. Haylee having lost a close friend to Fentanyl laced Oxycontin and Wolf's sister is an addict to Oxycontin.
They have a loose plan to reconnect when they return to the USA and the DC area. When they do reconnect, several months have passed. They meet and the heat is still steamy and hot.
The story has Haylee digging deep into the drug trade via questionable characters and Wolf trying to protect her from her passion to avenge her friend's death and her seeming disregard for her personal safety.
Things get dicey and they team up on all fronts, but neither is sure about what or how deep their “relationship” is. Neither one wants to label it, but both are not willing to let the other go, completely.

Awesome Story From Beginning To End

I am really enjoying visiting these books again and listening to the great narrations

I really enjoyed this latest HOT book featuring Wolf (Dean) and Haylee. They were a fun couple who seem to click from the very beginning. She is passionate about her work and using it to fight the bad guys. Wolf is a complete alpha who makes no excuses about who he is and what he wants. I liked how this story was more close to home for Dean and the members of HOT and how the people they were after were right in their own backyard so to speak. This story was full of action and drama and even a little bit of a surprise involved as to who was behind some of what was happening with Haylee. I always like the appearances of not only the men of HOT but of the women who love them. Dean may have at the beginning felt he would not fall victim to love but it was clear from the beginning he had no chance once he met Haylee. Wonderful HEA!

this book is one of my favorites by Lynn Raye Harris! the Narrators did an awesome job bringing Wolf and Haylee to life!! I loved the dynamics between Wolf and Haylee and the narrators nailed it perfectly!

If you want excitement, danger, mystery, intrigue and steam, this story is for you.
Hayley is determined, sassy, strong-willed, and can play a mean game of pool. her agenda as a reporter is to get a story and expose the cartel.
Wolf is the strong , sexy, commando, that came to her rescue several times.
He wasn't supposed to fall in love, his job is too dangerous .
Lynn Raye Harris story kept me captivated from the beginning to the end.
Gregory Salinas and CJ Bloom narration is very good. They brought the personalities,, emotions, and intensity for this amazing story. I was gifted this audio by the author and offered my honest review.

Justice comes in the H.O.T. form

Wolf & Halee share a similar life. They both have a loved one dealing with deug addiction, though one overdosed from a bad batch. It may not have been what brought them together but helped them understand each other better.

Such a strong heroine! Loved it!

There is something about a strong, spunky heroine that gets me everytime. Haylee was exactly that! From the very beginning when Wolf and his team rescue Haylee, I was drawn to this woman who was so very strong. As strong as the man who was rescuing her. Ms. Harris has created an amazing team of characters where each book is fast paced and feeds into the next story. These are all action packed adventures that I can't get enough of.

I loved Haylee and Dean's story. These two captivated me with their banter and I absolutely loved Haylee. She was the perfect match for the warrior Dean.

Another great story in this series! The narrators did a great job bringing it to life.

I like the premise of this story. It's a current day problem of illegal drugs entering the US and being distributed to unknowing people. They think they're buying one thing, but they're getting something else. Add in the political ramifications, espionage, and greed and it plays out in a very intriguing way.

I have since listened to the audiobook. I have to admit I’ve been enjoying listening to Gregory Salinas portray the men of HOT. He has the right voice to pull it off. CJ Bloom did a great job with Hailey. I enjoyed her southern twang and her being a pool shark.

Amazing

Another fantastic addition to this series. Wolf & Haylee's story is a little different from the rest of the series, but in a good way. I think the focus on the opioid crisis is interesting & realistic. I loved the twist at the end. You don't really see it coming until you get hit with it. Loved everything about it! Can't wait for the next.

Wonderful addition to series!!!

Ms. Harris has given her readers another wonderful story with Hot Justice and yet another couple to fall for with Haylee and Wolf (Dean).

Haylee Jamison is on a mission to discover who is behind the fake opioids coming into the US that killed her best friend Nicole. When she is taken hostage along with another group of Americans in a drug compound, she is lucky enough to meet and be rescued Dean "Wolf" Garner and other members of H.O.T. I loved that even when Haylee knew her life was on the line she still fought back and didn't give up her hope for bringing the leader of the cartel to justice for her friend and other addicts like Nicole.

Wolf and Haylee had a pretty instant connection. I think the fact they both had personal reasons for wanting opioids off the street was part of it, but really they just seemed to click from the moment Wolf helped save Haylee. Haylee was a fighter and so strong and I loved that Wolf really saw who she was from the very beginning. The fact they had smoking hot chemistry from the beginning and had a hard time keeping their hands off each other, made me fall for them faster.

Hot Justice was as suspenseful as each of the books in the Hostile Operations Team books. However, I really did find more humor, especially between Haylee and Wolf in this book. I have to say it really made me love their romance a bit more. I love when a really serious story has moments of levity and Hot Justice had several along the way. I have to say, while I knew I didn't trust one particular character early on, I really had no reason other than instinct I guess. How this character acted as the story progressed completely surprised me. I love when an author keeps me guessing and throws in a curveball I'm not expecting...even when I know I should be.

Hot Justice was a wonderful addition to the Hostile Operations Team series. As always, as soon as I finished reading the newest book, I'm already anxiously awaiting the next book in the series. I highly recommend this book and series to any readers who enjoy hot military heroes with strong suspense elements to the stories.

I adored the audiobook version of HOT Justice. Both CJ Bloom and Gregory Salinas did a fantastic job with all the voices of the various characters and the seamless transition between narrators kept the story moving. Once again, this is a story that kept me on the edge of my seat through much of the book, and it made me love the story even more due to that fact. The suspense element is strong in this book, but the humor is every bit as strong, and the narrators both did a fantastic job moving between humor and suspense. Ms. Harris once again picked the perfect narrators for her story.

enjoyable

Good storyline. I think at times , Hailey was blinded and obsessed with the opioid problem and tried single handedly to eradicate it. She was so tunnel visioned that she missed important dangerous signs along the way. Wolf was magnificent and played the hero to a "t". I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. I enjoyed the male narrator and think he added to the story and brought it to life. The female narrator sounded too chirpy and immature for me and didn't seem to fit the part.
