Publisher's summary

When honeyed words just aren't enough.

The war against the AIs is won, but the fight for humanity has only just begun. With the xenophobic Clans rampaging though the Rebel Empire, Princess Kelsey Bandar must convince the skeptical resistance to help them to establish a base of operations to fight back.

To do that, Kelsey needs every ally she can get, and a whole lot of luck. Instead, she finds herself trapped in an alien universe while her mother tries to save the day.

As her friends struggle to accomplish the work without her, she has to decipher the alien place holding her. Even if she does get free, can she turn the situation around in her own universe before everything comes apart in their faces?

Big Question, when is the next book or is this the end of the series?

The Saga Continues

This has been a very good series that is now moving forward past its expected ending on Terra. Or if not Terra then at least after the master AI was defeated. But Terry Mixon’s excellent space opera is about the people not the computers and the people have to pick up the pieces after their rulers are deposed. I can see that there is more to tell in this story. Consider me an avid follower of this series.

Splendid Adventure With Characters I Know And Love

The Empire of Bones Saga is one of my favorite military science fiction space operas. I have followed this series from the very beginning. Terry Mixon has masterfully created a fantastic universe with a diverse cast of wonderful, engaging, rich characters with plenty of backstory, characters that I have grown to care about over the years. Each book has been worth the wait, and Gunboat Diplomacy was no exception. This well written, intriguing story is full of action with surprising twists and turns that I didn't see coming as well as suspense, conflict, battles, betrayal and mystery. No spoilers. I look forward to being united with these characters in the next chapter of this saga. Veronica Giguere's performance was outstanding. I was provided a free copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving this review.
