Amazing story, heartfelt and soulful and the narrator conveyed it very well.

Love the writer activism through fiction and the audio immersed me into the story even more.

Loved the story and the narrator

What a story. Hopeful. I admire the pull between science and reason and magic or at least myths refined over time.

Promising Start, but ultimately a letdown

the first couple of chapters captivated me but after the halfway point, when the focus moves away from the legend itself, the story goes a bit downhill in my opinion. And finally, I wish the secondary characters had a bit of an arc themselves rather than just serving as two ends of a spectrum the protagonist must choose from. overall a bit of a letdown.

Didn’t know what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with this story.

Bravissimo!

I loved this book. The allegories led me down a path of philosophical introspection. It lent me new perspectives ranging from cultural xenophobia to the spiritual. It gave me an introduction to the voice of the past being heard today along with showing the way a place or setting speaks to a character and, so, to the reader.

It’s a well written story and I highly recommend it.
