Part of my nightly routine

This is a great slow before sleep instructional audio to guide you to create the feeling of calm and control, alllowing you to draw that sensation when you need it. I appreciate the pace to internalize the feel before going the next step. The background music is perfect. The intro and end audio is a bit jarring in contrast to Jessica’s soothing voice. Be prepared for that, but otherwise very helpful.

Calming and Comforting

This is a very brief instructional audiobook on how to manage sensations that might be disturbing or distracting. The author, Jessica Miller Alvarez gives step-by-step instructions on how to clear your mind and be better in tune with your surroundings.

The author delivers clear and concise steps for clearing your mind and focusing on your surroundings and sensations. As the author and narrator, Alvarez slowly draws out the words to further level the listener's comfort and offer some soothing sounds.

As a non-practitioner of meditation, I listened to this audiobook three times to fully experience its effect of the audiobook. I found the experience interesting and inviting although my mind refused to shut down fully enough to allow me to have the targeted experience.

For those of you seeking to relax and become in tune with your surroundings and experience sensations in a positive manner, this is a good start.

There were no issues with the sound or quality of this audiobook, it was well done.

Soothing

Jessica Miller Alvarez invites the listener to take part in this guided meditation for Managing Pain and Other Unwanted Sensations, Including Noise Disturbance. She narrates all the instructions herself, as is customary with this type of meditation and we also have a soothing, comforting audio track that will help us better focus on ourselves and our surroundings.
Recently I started to meditate on a daily basis, especially after doing my Apple fitness workouts. Usually after spending 30 or 40 minutes tackling some hit or core exercise, I choose to wind down by continuing with a guided meditation or a mindful cooldown.
During the weekend and on this Monday I used this short audio program from Jessica in order to relax and meditate, so by now I’m feeling very comfortable with it and it feels familiar.
As with all other meditation exercises this one will require you to concentrate on the voice of the narrator, on the music and of course, on your surroundings. Jessica guides us with precise instructions, delivered in a slow and soothing cadence. I think this can be useful to everyone who wants to relax and better connect with there inner self and environment.
