Publisher's Summary

Joss Morgan barely survived the summer after eighth grade, in spite of - or maybe because of - his superpowers. Now, in the last few days before starting high school, he has a commitment to keep, but he'll have to defy his parents to do it.

After convincing himself he's not really being dishonest, Joss gets to work helping a friend in trouble. Unfortunately, Joss's other superpower kicks into high gear - his ability to create utter chaos for himself and his family. Before long, Joss is wondering if he'll be alive when high school starts.

Joss turns to his friends for help while trying to figure out how to make things right at home. This time, though, sneaking around isn't going to be enough. When he realizes the danger he's caused his family, it's all-out war.

Book 2

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

This audiobook is a great follow up on the first book of the series. It's more for younger audience.

Even more glorious than book 1!!

Both the writing and the narration are absolutely top notch! I loved this so much, from the gasp-inducing surprises and heart-stopping action, to the wry delivery of one-liners and excellent use of accents and voices. Can I give it 10 stars? And can I have book 3 now?

Great story that pulls you along and draws you in!

Another wonderful instalment of this series.
It is a well written book that crafts a world that allows an emerging teen hero into a confusing and mystifying world.
It builds well upon the first book offering a widening of the story and a progression that draws you in wanting to learn more and introduces bigger characters.

The narration is well executed across a range of characters with all of them feeling unique.

I think this book appeals to a wide range of reader from teens through to adults that enjoy a superhero/fantasy with a little element of action thriller.
