In a world splintered by genetic engineering, Aria was never given a choice. Destined from birth to be a recipient of the serum, a failed medical miracle repurposed as a tool for control, she is one of the “Chosen.” When the serum fell into the hands of evil men, they transformed a gift of healing into a weapon of absolute power, stopping at nothing to seize control and crushing anything that dared to stand in their path.

On Aria’s 25th birthday, she is extracted and taken to a high security compound, where she discovers a world of others like her, gifted, or perhaps cursed, with enhanced senses. Here she collides with Bryce, the formidable, cold commander of the compound. Bryce is rigid, bound by nineteen years of duty, and convinced this life is all he deserves. Aria is a defiant, unwilling pawn fueled by a burning hatred for the man who keeps her captive.

Outside of the compound, the rest of humanity struggles in forgotten places, fighting a brutal battle for survival.
As the men in power prepare to use their specimens as pawns in a final, bloody play for dominance, Aria and Bryce realize they must choose between the roles they were born into and the love that has set them free.

The experiment is over, and the revolution has just begun.
