Hooked me in on First Page

A strange cloud that makes people want to touch it and turns into almost a vine that attacks the person. The town is being attacked by these things and no one knows what it is. A mayor that is worried more about his status than the people. What will happen next while the volunteers go up the mountain to see where these things are coming from.

Never look at clouds the same way

After listening to this story, I'll never look at a cloud the same way. True horror story of beautiful white clouds that hold a deadly horror that attacks a small town. This was a fast paced action and survival story. Many characters you find yourself wanting to beat the odds and characters that turned into "monsters" because of the clouds. This book had it all with a high horror factor. Will anyone survive??? Guess you'll have to read it to find out.

A great horror book

When Dennis carrier sees what looks like cotton candy floating in the sky, he goes to work until his coworkers about it and most of them shake their head in disbelief. He will get his chance to prove it though because later that night at the local bar they see more of it falling from the sky and after one of the towns people touches it they watch him Roll around and turning and then die. It’s not over though the next day there’s more hell to come, The local bully becomes something no local bully should becomeIan he is out for Dennis and his new girlfriend Tammy , Who he is loved since childhood. As if that isn’t enough the mayor is working against them the nice sheriff becomes something that makes him eat his self and what does this all have to do with the mysterious village on the mountain that burned down a few years ago? This book was really really good! I didn’t expected to be as good as it was and I am so glad I read it and can’t wait to read more by this author. I loved the narrator and found his voice soothing and very easy to listen to. I highly recommend this book since finishing I have downloaded two more books by this author. One of them being the mysterious village that burned down mysteriously in the story. I love this book and if you love horror you’ll love this book as well.

Inventive horror story!

I recently received an offer of a review copy of Gossamer Falls, not knowing what to expect story wise (I didn’t read the description) other than I needed a book to listen to I loaded this story in my phone and spent the day listening to it. To say I was blown away by this story is an understatement the longer I listened the more invested I became in the story as well as the characters. Mr. Douglas has created a story that puts your emotions through a rollercoaster ride. While this was my first story by Mr. Douglas, this will not be the last. The narration by Peter Kuhn is excellent and brings the story to life.

Perfect Horror story

This was a perfect spooky story. A small mountain town discovers some strange clouds descending on their town. Of course people are curious and investigate. Just remember never touch strange clouds that seem to attch themselves to objects. People were touching them & the results unleashed an impossible enemy that you can't escape. People were acting strangely as well. As citizens tried to flee they soon realized it was impossible to leave town with trees blocking the road. This story kept me turning the pages for sure. Nice horror story.
