Publisher's Summary

Fear. Rejection. Addiction. Anger. Comfort...must fall.

It's likely you have a threatening giant in your life...an adversary or stronghold that's diminishing your ability to live a full and free life. Frozen in the grip of rejection, fear, anger, comfort, or addiction, we lose sight of the promise God has for our lives. Demoralized and defeated, we settle for far less than his best.

God has a better plan for you, a plan for you to live in victory. That's why he has silenced your giant once and for all.

In Goliath Must Fall, pastor Louie Giglio uncovers a newfound twist in the classic story of David and Goliath. The key to living free from our giants is not better slingshot accuracy but keeping our eyes on the one and only giant-slayer - Jesus. Put your hope in him, and watch Goliath fall.

Encouraged

I appreciates the book and the support that Louie brings me to o facing and winning the battle against the giants. Even though Louie didn't read most of the book, the other reader was good.

Narrator's age doesn't go with the context.

I loved the content of the book but the narration was always so distracting. The words of the book describe someone who is probably in their fifties but the narrator sounds like he's about 20 years old. It was conflicting and distracting as he was describing himself in a timeline where you knew he wasn't born yet. I wish they would choose narrators that are the same age or sound the same age as the author so there is some consistency.

Good book...needed more depth

Great motivating book. I was looking for something with a little more depth. Not a bad book at all. Just not what I was looking for.

Life Changing

This book will challenge you but in a good way.
The narrative is profound in a simple way.

You will never look at the real life event ( story) the same way.

Be ready for change.

Refreshing and Revelatory

Such a breathe of fresh air and an incredibly obvious yet looked-over twist on the David and Goliath story! Would definitely recommend to all of my friends and anyone who’s looking to conquer their giants, or find out what their giants are in the first place.

Forgettable and theoretical

This was another lame and forgettable Christian ‘how to’ book. More story telling & theory than revelation
