AI? Virtual?

After hearing so much about AI, I am sorry that you chose AI to read the story! After listening to 77 books, AI couldn't pronounce the names correctly. It lacks the human element. Which if you listen you can hear it in the voice. Not proper human inflections, if that is the correct word. I hope this isn't done in future books!

Hate the AI narration

The AI voice almost destroys the story. The AI narrative got almost every name wrong. Caught myself correcting the names every time it was said wrong. Forget about the hot and heavy scenes. There is no lust or pleasure in those dead AI words.
I absolutely loved the first book and I love the whole children of the gods series (I have all 94+ audiobooks), but I SUFFERED through this one. I'm glad I listened and got the rest of the story, but it was a rough listen.

Please do not use virtual voice!

I have listened to the entire series and loved it. Goddess Hope was a good story but having virtual voice ruined it. The virtual voice does not differ from character to character and they pronounce most names differently. It was difficult to listen because I had to stop and figure out who they talking about. Please no more virtual voice!

Storyline Great! Virtual voice not so!

It was great to hear the beginning of this story and how it came to be. I would’ve liked to hear it be read or have the same narrator that you did with your other books than a virtual voice. The virtual voice made it really difficult to get through this book because it kept saying the main characters names incorrect, which led to a lot of confusion. It felt very monotone, which made it extremely unappealing. I would suggest that if you have not read any of the previous books in the series, to start with the Goddess’s Hope, then pick up with book one of the series so then that way you get corrected on the main character’s names right from the start. Please don’t use a virtual voice again since it is a very acquired taste which does not go with your style of writing this series.

This back story was very interesting. There is so many unknowns that may influence the future books

Live readers are BETTER

I did NOT like the AI reading. After listening to 90 books read by a live person the AI couldn’t even pronounce the names of main characters correctly

The automated voice is terrible.

The automated voice makes for a terrible audio book. It was a struggle to keep going, but I wanted to know the story!

Virtual voice sucks!

I wonder how you could let them do this to your series. The voices were all messed up. She annunciated the names incorrectly, but overall the story was good.

Horrible reading of such a great book.

This auto narrator thing is horrible! The author has put a lot of mind and soul into creating novel experience with sequels of nearly 100 books to tell a romance story like no other. but then ruin her great work with narration through some type of auto narrator.

Please for the sake of this amazing book series don't ever use this auto narration again on any of great books in the future. I would hate to stop listening to the Children of the Gods book series.
