Being the smartest cadet in the Elohim Academy on Omega Prime was no big deal for the boy named Yahweh. The only reason he majored in both galactology and the galacticNet was that he enjoyed exploring the future. While human children could only dream of keeping up with the superior mind of a Elohim, the policy was to set apart the Elohim children from the inferior human breeding stock. THE NARRATOR IS THE WORST!!

I listened to the sample and the narrator was sort of bad but I figured I would just get used to him. NOPE, I can't listen to another minute. He can do ONE voice, well sort of but any additional characters were horrible. Most especially the female voices. UGGG! I have never ever heard such an awful actor playing the parts of women before. The were squeaky and stilted. Other times, I even thought maybe a computer was reading the book it was so choppy. (Yes, there is an actual AI in the book that talks, those were not the characters I was referring to.)
I can't tell you if the book was good, I only got to chapter 41 but from what I listened to, the plot moved extremely slow. I have had 5 Audible accounts from the beginning of Audible because I listen to books every day. I can honestly say this guy won the award, hands down, the worst narrator ever!
The speed of the narrator's reading was way off too. I had to slow the speed down to 8.5 because the narrator talked so fast then he would slow down so I would have to raise it to 1.05. It was either too fast or too slow.
I'm going to ask for a refund.

Great sci-fi audiobook! Clean Audio Quality

First off, the audio quality of this audiobook is very very good and easy to listen to. The story is well written and fast paced. The title does make you think the story is about religion. But that is not the case here. You are taken on a great time traveling sci fi adventure through the universe. Kept me engaged throughout. Anyone who knows about sci-fi will appreciate this story. The narrator Rob Drex has done a nice job as there are may characters to perform.
