excellent for sleep issues

this has been excellent for helping me fall asleep. the past few nights I could fall asleep until after 3 am. this really helped me actually calm down to sleep through the night.

It says heading optional?

Didn't really work for me. I think being told "your now under hypnosis" when you know your not kinda ruins it.

Recommended!

Amazing. Calms and unwinds before falling into a great sleep. Can't recommend you try this enough if you are struggling with sleep. It even helps my 10 year old who has never enjoyed the process of drifting to sleep. It relaxes her mind before she sleeps and she is sleeping after 15 mins, whereas before it could take 1-2 hours for her to eventually fall to sleep in her quiet room through sheer exhaustion. Gives me back my evening and she wakes up feeling good.

I don't consider this audio book to be a story but is so helpful when one can't get to sleep. I certainly found it so but wished it was longer than 20 minutes and as I find it difficult to sleep I listen every night.

This book has made a massive difference to my ability to get back to sleep when waking in the night.

The calming and soothing narrative talks you down and tell you how to relax. The hypnosis techniques really work. Don’t forget to set your timer to switch off after 30 minutes! Highly recommend this recording.

Works for me

Would you consider the audio edition of Go to Sleep Now to be better than the print version?

I have not read the print version.

What did you like best about this story?

This Go to Sleep does exactly that, relaxes you and puts you into a sleep trance so you are ready to nod off.

What does Craig Beck bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Craig Beck has a great voice for soothing and relaxing, works for me. It took me a few times to be able to relax properly but thats just me, once I did I really enjoyed the experience.

Any additional comments?

These are personal comments and nothing would take away my belief that this works it is just at the beginning announcement GO TO SLEEP is somewhat pronounced and made me giggle. During the relaxation the words deeper and down are used a lot and the child in me was giggling as it sounded like a Status Quo lyric. I have managed to stem the giggling now and use this book nearly every night. Fabulous if you have real problems getting to sleep.

Works really well for me!

I've been using this book for a week, as I have been having problems getting to, and staying, sleep. I am now dropping off at some point during the reading and not waking during the night! Wonderful :)
