Wish I had this book before.

Whereas The Four Hour Workweek highlighted the remote lifestyle can work for select entrepreneurs, this book highlights that almost anyone can live a remote lifestyle. From teaching English to executive positions in remote firms and everything in between Mike shares how you can travel and work. Wish I had this book when starting my travels. Highly recommended.

Correct information + good writing

As someone who joined the same path 7 years argo, I can say: this book is 100% true. This book sumarizes the same things I learned from: studying abroad, working remotely, being free. This book is well written and shows the next best steps forward for anyone starting out. Highly recommended.

Helped me start my own Global Career!

This book had been detrimental in helping me in starting my own Global Career. Although it’s catered for Americans, I was able to receive a ton a value as a Colombian and apply the practical knowledge to find a really good remote job that allows me to travel. This book is perfect for anyone looking to work and travel as a digital nomad!

Enticing Title

This book has fueled my desire for location independence. It is a how to book from someone who is creating a trail for the rest of us to follow, and in turn, blaze our own trails. I have listened to Mike Swigunski now on EPOP, and his journey is inspirational.

Useful book for starting your work-travel journey

There are quite a few incentives to try working from abroad and this book manages to help you get started. It's based on the journey of this author so you can understand better what helped him most in order to work from a distance while traveling the world. The narration is pleasant and it helps to create a good story. There are many tips for starting your own personal journey and keeping in mind that I'm also an expat I believe that the book has enough ideas to get you started and actually be successful at it. Good luck with your new adventure. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

If You Want To Work And Travel, Read This!

This is a nice easy read. Gives you a great set of tools to prepare yourself for a life of working on the road. As a nomad of 7 years, I'd say a perfect first book on the topic -also has a few higher-level secrets, which made it more useful than a lot of the other books on the topic . Written by an American, but stil great advice, regardless of where you are from. Recommended...

Great book which can really change your life

Although I have previous experience working abroad, this book has been a good reality check in evaluating where I am now and where I have always wanted to be (living/working abroad). The author details his own experiences from travelling and working abroad, to opportunities of studying in a different country. The book covers a range of topics which are valuable to anyone thinking of working/travelling abroad, but are apprehensive of taking those first steps. This book is a great guide with tons of real life experiences on how to live and work around the globe. "This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review."

If you liked the 4-hour workweek you'll love this book

I loved the 4-hour workweek but I thought it was lacking a lot of practical strategies that I could implement today. Global career provides the practical strategies that were missing from the 4-hour workweek. It doesn't focus on starting an online business or ideas but instead the actual steps you can take to prepare to live and travel overseas or get a remote job. While the 4-hour workweek tells you to go live in Argentina and learn salsa dancing, global career provides the websites and resources to make that a reality. Not just to travel but to build a career overseas or get a job that you do from anywhere in the world. I'm paraphrasing the book here but I think this sums the book up well: What this book will do for you is turn your dream of traveling one day into something you know you can do right now. Instead of looking at vacation destinations for that trip you want to take someday but taking no action on it. This book will get you looking up flight times and submitting your visa application to make your dream of traveling one day into a reality now. I really enjoyed this audiobook and since listening to it I have already taken steps towards making a move overseas.
