Publisher's summary

Let's be honest. Glen & Tyler go on vacation the same way the US Navy deploys: with much fanfare and crowds throwing streamers. Despite the pirates, smugglers, and the usual criminal crowd, this tale has hot men, Chemin de fer, and some nice beach scenes.

Come for the pirates, stay for the tight swimsuits.

Oh, and rum. Lots of rum.

Another delight

I love this series and Brian's reading. These are stories I listen to repeatedly, and I am thrilled to add this one to my rotation.

Yummy Fun

Where does Glen & Tyler's High Seas Hijinks rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of the most fun I've listened to in a long while. Escapist entertainment that is a good time start to finish.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

I was psyched to hear what Glen and Tyler would do next. And the thought of a couple guys in tight swimsuits was never bad.

Which character – as performed by Brian Rollins – was your favorite?

Glen and Tyler are so smooth and fun with Brian's voice. I can't wait to listen to other books.

If you could rename Glen & Tyler's High Seas Hijinks, what would you call it?

Fun in the Sun

Any additional comments?

Delightful and delicious. Who would have thought a girl could have so much fun listening to two gay guys frolic in the sand and surf. Mmmmm.

Reliable, satisfying fun

Glenn & Tyler continue to be great, unapologetic wish-fulfillment brain candy and they look good while doing it. If you're seeking for great lit, look elsewhere, but if you're in the market for good fun and happy adventure, look no further. Brian Rollins does his usual great job, although four books into the series I would think we might have moved beyond creaking chairs and odd echoes in the audio production.

Excellent again

Most wonderful fast paced narration of a well crafted story. Can't wait for the next episode.

Awful narration!

I have the complete set of these books and now only have the last book to read. Whilst the story has been very well written, the adventures and circumstances which the boys find themselves in, the narrator lets them down very badly indeed. When it comes to pronouncing Glen, he says Glyn, Gwyn or Gwen with great frequency! This threw me really frequently with the result that I had to go back in the book to ascertain if a new character had appeared in the story but for some reason, I had missed their entrance only to find that it wasn't a new character at all, but of course it wasn't a new character but the narrator! I have still got the final book to listen to but will listen to a couple of other books and keep in mind this narrator's name and avoid him at all costs!!

In future I shall be watching out for this narrator and giving him a wide berth!!!

More of the same...

Any additional comments?

Once again Tyler comes off as smug and insufferable, and the plot lurches from one contrived scene to another. If the author could add more depth to the characters and add some genuine suspense, these books could have been so much better.
