Bob Denver is very candid and funny about some of the incidents that he was involved in during the making of Dobie Gillis as well as Gilligans Island.
He is so refreshingly unpretentious. How he even got into show business and appeared on Dobie Gillis as Maynard is impossible simple. Much less starring on another hit sitcom ,Gilligans Island. There are great behind the scenes stories wryly
told with Denver's quirky sense of humor. He is Maynard even in the pacing of his narration. Dreama bis wife also adds a sense of gratitude and kindness in her part of the narration to the fans of both shows. "Hey little buddy, good job."!

Surprisingly better than expected

If you're a fan of classic TV and Hollywood this is absolutely great to listen to. Bob Denver, telling his story in his own words, is charming. This reminds you there's so much more of him (and the Gilligan's cast) than what we may recall. Just listening to Bob Denver telling the stories are worth the listen. I purchased this on just because of curiosity and the low price. While listening I actually found myself wanting to hear more stories from him.

I can honestly say, had I paid more I still think it would have been worth it.
