This book was stupid. I’m so glad.

Rob, this was a stupid idea.

And I’m so happy it was.

I think about that phrase often, or some variation appropriate to the time or place or speakers preference. I think about how many times the people who changed the world heard that phrase. Their idea was not like anyone else’s and because it wasn’t the normal thing - it was stupid.

It wasn’t the social accepted normal way of thinking that changed the world. It was the stupid ideas. The ideas people thought were so dumb because they were so outlandish that people couldn’t possibly see them working.

I imagine there were people who thought Tesla was an idiot because he said stuff different to them.

Gigi make paradox? That title is nonsense.

What’s it about? Time / space traveling babies, mythological creatures, famous historical figures, and pall mall (it was a game they played in France) cigarettes. Ridiculous idea

What are they on the run from? Glowing Chinese food.
Okay. That’s crazy talk.

Who would read that? Me. Me would read that. Me would read that very much.

Thank you for giving us this book. An absolute delight told by the clumsy hero in every man.

You had a stupid idea.
By bringing laughs, smiles, and heart-touching moments, You made the world a better place.

Tesla would be proud.


*This review was written entirely due to the sincere request at the end of the book. Wait. Is that an end-of-the-book spoiler? What reason would I have to give away that crucial bit of information!? Sh*ts crazy. Don’t ask.

Save the Multiverse (Again?!)!

I recommend this book to anyone who has read or listened to the other two in the trilogy and enjoyed them. Beyond that, I recommend this whole series to anyone who just enjoys a good laugh and a bunch of amusing characters.

So when it comes to this series, I don’t always follow what’s going on, but it has always been quite entertaining. If you’re reading this review, you’ve probably finished the other two in the series, so there isn’t much more to say, save that this one is probably the most fun of the three. Chip and Pete are still around, but this time, their daughters are joining them on a journey to save the multiverse (again). Also accompanying them is Marie Curie, a [redacted], a [redacted], Bobo, and of course Tesla himself. But those are just icing on the cake. The spawn of Chip and Pete’s marriages should be all you need to know to know that the shenanigans will be EPIC.

So while this isn’t high literature, and it’s not going to make you question your life choices, or anything else particularly deep, it will get some silly grins and out loud laughs from you.

great end to a great trilogy

Rob Dircks is one of my all-time favorite authors! this trilogy was so fun and corky that I couldn't put it down. I got the first book on a whim and ever since I have been a massive fan of Rob Dircks. if I could give this book 6 stars I would

Excellent end to the adventure

This was a lot of fun, it got several good chuckles out of me.

It sounded like a finale to the the Where the Hell is Tesla universe, I look forward to seeing what Dircks' brings us in the future.

Great narration.

The nihilists were my favorite.

Good book but what's with getting shorter?

I liked this book as well as the others in the series but each book was shorter than the last. Otherwise it was an good strange read.

Dircks brings his Tesla series to a satisfying end

Chip and Pete are each parent to their own, respective, tiny munchkin. Because the two buddies are still pretty much kids themselves, a moment of parental neglect leads their children to create a temporal paradox that may spell the end of the universe, the multiverse, and possibly the boboverse.

At this point, I can't really imagine anyone else being the voice of Chip Collins. Dircks is his own creation. His performance is bittersweet as this trilogy comes to a close.

Despite being the shortest entry in the Teslaverse, Gig Make Paradox is arguably the strongest. It ties together all the loose threads and even <spoiler>manages to get rid of Chip's bobo foot.</spoiler> It's also the book with the most heart. Chip gets emotional on more than one occasion and it feels real. Saying goodbye to this series means <spoiler>saying goodbye to his surrogate father, Nicola Tesla</spoiler>, the consequences seem natural (for this kind of book anyway).

At the conclusion of the story, Rob Dircks documents his experience reaching out to the living descendants of Tesla to inform them of his intent to include him in this work. I found it very humanizing both of the real and the fictional Tesla--it gave me all the feels.

I wouldn't recommend this book unless you've read the previous two (which you should). If you're already two books in at this point then you're gonna want to see it through to its conclusion. It's funny, sciencey, meta, and poignant. Dircks brings his Tesla series to a satisfying end.

great end to a fantastic trilogy

A fantastically fun ending to a great adventure through, time space and the multiverse. Well written and performed by the author, the complete story teller.

I enjoyed the first two, but just couldn’t take the baby talk voice.

The first two books were pretty entertaining. This one seems to be also good plot-wise, but I’m sorry I just can’t take the baby talk/Voice.

Weird, fun, and heartfelt

One last adventure through the multiverse. It's just as weird, and fun, and heartfelt as the previous books - a great way to cap the trilogy. I'm not usually a fan of books where kids are introduced to create problems. But I loved this one! And the author continues as a great narrator.

The Perfect amount of absurd.

I have loved this series from beginning to end. Refreshingly different kind of character peril!
I can't fault the narration, it really adds to the amusingness of the story.
Really fun escapism at its best.

A little short but a great ending

this trilogy has a very heartwarming and sad ending to the entire series. Personally I would hope to see more books but it can just end here and I would also be fine with it. It's a really good read and voice acting is awesome so.10/10 would do it all over again.
