Carson pioneered again in a rare procedure known as hemispherectomy, giving children without hope a second chance at life through a daring operation in which he literally removed one half of their brain. Amazing, simply Amazing
This is a must read. Such a success story of this gifted man's life. A story to share with children of all ages, especially those which fail and those that dream big. All walks of life could be touched by this story.

Great book by an inspiring man!
This was the first book of the ben carson series that I came across. I've since read all his books but one!
A brilliant and inspiring story! A must listen to people of all ages. This book is a perfect pick-me-up for anyone in need of a boost!
I rated it 4 stars rather than 5 because the unabridged book has a few extra details the the audio version misses

Terribly written and well for narrator but I’m nice story
I thought a 12-year-old child wrote this and was narrated by a 10-year-old
