Jilted by text message.
Honeymooning with her grandma.
The resort's bartender may look like Jason Momoa, but Roxy is NOT interested.

Being jilted nearly-at-the-altar by text message is not at all how prim and proper Roxy Rose thought her wedding day would go.

Getting dragged along anyway on her Hawaiian honeymoon by her self-centered sister and irreverent grandma is the icing on the horrible wedding-day cake.

Can Kai, the resort's hunky and talented chauffeur/bartender/flame-thrower, turn this disaster of a trip into a romantic adventure to last a lifetime?

Or will his mysterious secrets keep their love from blossoming?

This novel is part of The Escape Series, which includes Aloha, Baby!, Cruising for Love, Island Hopping, and the sweet short story, Coconutty Christmas. You can listen and enjoy these books in any order!

Escape with Roxy into the enchanting Hawaiian Islands as she finally discovers the joys of hanging loose and "Getting Lei'd".

Fans of Melissa Foster, Bella Andre, and Melanie Shawn are sure to love this delightful romantic comedy novel. Dive in now!

This was one of the ebooks I've gotten written by Ann Omasta. I almost forgot about it until I was pleasantly surprised that there's an audio version! I didn't hesitate to get a copy and started the book during my non-thinking moments, while doing muscle memory only jobs. I enjoyed it! I loved Baggy and Ruthie! Rozy is totally lucky to have them as family. I think without them, she wouldn't have realised that she dodged a bullet as soon as she did and she wouldn't have found the perfect man for her. Oh my gosh! The world needs more of Kai! He's such a gentleman and so down-to-earth. I think their story was so sweet. Although I agree that their romance was a shotgun one but I applaud them for knowing that their love was real. It's a nice, feel good read that brought me a lot of laughs and made me blush a lot.

Carpe Diem

This is a delightful story, a great balance of humor and heart. I enjoyed Anna Omasta’s writing, as well as her narration. The storylines and characters she created are interesting, they immediately grabbed my attention and held it right to the end. Roxy was a jilted bride, she received a text from her fiancé on their intended wedding day telling her he couldn’t do it and he was in love with her best friend. Her grandmother, Baggy, takes charge, whisks Roxy and her sister Ruthie away in her fiance’s car. Her grandmother is a hoot, love how she got her name Baggy and she sure lived up to it. Next step for the trio is the honeymoon in Hawaii, unknown where they were booked to stay, thankfully someone from the resort is holding up a sign with her ex’s last name. That someone was Kai, a tall hunk of a man who looks like Jason Momoa. A bit of confusion is cleared up and he brings them to the resort. I loved how everything plays out, Baggy meets someone, Ruthie meets someone who then crushes her heart and Roxy and Kai hit it off too. Ann Omasta fit a lot of story into this book, the dialogue is hysterical at times and there are some sweet heartfelt moments as well. Is there a HEA for Roxy, what kind of trouble does Baggy get herself into. I highly recommend this book, it is entertaining and will put a smile on your face.

I listened to the Audible edition, Ann Omasta did a wonderful job narrating her story. She not only created these characters but she brings them to life right off of the pages giving each their own voice and personality. She was awesome at projecting the emotions of the characters into her performance as well as the humor and the drama. Thank you for this great story and listen 🎧

An light hearted story with excellent characters to entertain. The love is crazy real. HI is the paradise everyone thinks and the natives are fascinating. The only thing that could h as ve made it better was if we knew Kai's thoughts as well.

It was refreshing to have a main character with such strong convictions.

I recieved a free Audible copy of this story, at my request, in exchange for a honest review.

Really like this book. Getting text message from fiance just before you as supposed to walk down the aisle telling you he can't go through with the wedding because he and your best friend love each other. Then grandma and sister basically kidnap you and take you on your honeymoon in Hawaii. How much fun will that be when you are the responsible one ?

You will feel sad but you will also laugh

This book is so fun!! I especially love Baggy because she kind of reminds me of my Gram. The characters were well written and the narration was very well done.

I really miss my Gram now..
