In this episode, we take a detour from our usual conversations to discuss something important. I’m so proud of everyone who was on this episode. This is not a political issue, this is a human rights issue that shouldn't be softly spoken about. This is about the Black Lives Matter Movement and the people being directly affected by the actions of a negligent law enforcement that is not being held accountable. This is about the men, women and children in the black community who face discrimination everyday just because of the color of their skin. It's important that we all stand together and speak up against these injustices that happen on a daily basis. 

Even though we’re a small platform, we have an obligation to give a voice to the Black Lives Matter movement and those within the black community who are grappling with the current situation. We had an important conversation about the manifestations of racism in today’s society and explored different perspectives. We gave a friend of ours, Dan Ryans, the floor to talk about his personal experiences and reactions to racial injustice throughout his life. We are so thankful to have his perspective and to be able to address this on our platform. This is a human rights issue that we take a stance on and we will not be silent.
